Testimony: What God Gave Me

The first thing I thank God for is that I've always had a Christian witness in my life from a child.
Although I was raised by a single mother, then an alcoholic father, with drugs being a constant problem, my Mom and Dad, and grandparents always told me about God, and the Bible was always referred to or available. I was a troubled kid who always got into trouble and if I had continued down the path I was on, I would be in Hell today! I got into stealing, homosexuality and fornication at an early age.
Then as a teenager I was thirsty for something great, and was heavily interested in ancient mysteries and archaeology, some Native American and some Biblical. God used this to bring me to study the King James Bible. But I knew that I had broken God's law and that if I had died without Christ, there would be no heaven for me.
So, after struggling with God for a few years, I finally decided it was time to stop running from what I knew was the meaning of life and my all in all. At the age of 18, on October 1, 2000, I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save my soul, make my salvation sure, to forgive and wash me from all my sins and iniquities, and to make me born again.
Praise God for His perfect gifts of Salvation in Jesus Christ and the Book that runs the Universe, the Christian's Guide to the Galaxy, the Holy King James Bible!!!
