I am 52 yrs young, a single parent of 4 adult kids. I did not grow up in church, did not know christ because my family were not church people. By the age of 19 I had 2 kids. By 25 I was a addict in the streets, my dad had my kids and satan had me. I ran this rat race for 10yrs, living in total hell. Into the 11th year that was it, went to a rehab and got my life together. Later on I had 2 more kids. When I was 34 my mother was saved by then so she asked me to come to church with her. That was my first step to a victory I never knew. I went quite a few times with her not knowing what to expect, not knowing God had a plan. About 6months later I joined the church. 7years later I closed God out of me to let a man in, not knowing the cost for what I done. Well of course the man let me down and I thought the world ended, so I prayed for God to take away the pain, seems like he took forever but finally he did. after that I got real serious with God. I realize now that even though I got saved, it was just an invitation, but the sad thing was I never rsvp back on it, I never really gave myself totally to him then, I played with it until I had no choice but to call on him. Then and only then did I realize how important he is in my life. So its been 9yrs since I rsvp that invitation and I have been praising him every since. Thank you God!Getting saved just wont do. You have to live him!
