Testimony: Our Testimony

We were saved in 1978 and was baptised We walked away from the church we were going to in1981 because a Preacher got to involved in our life We didn't care for how he was trying to get into our personal life. ie going camping with Christian friends in God's mountains he was more worried about where our tithe was going to go. Also my wife had miscarriage and he thouht we were blaming God and we weren't because we knew we would see her/him when we met the LORD. Anyway to make a long story short we stopped going to churches (buildings). We didn't stop believing in the LORD just buildings. We stayed away for almost 40 years in 2007 we started going to Rocky Moutain Christian Church and fell in love with it we waited a few more years before officially joining because we wanted to be sure. I was baptised with a friend in 2013 (my wife said once was enough😄) We are now happy campers and both my wife and I love tithe. Oh and we had to great boys who are now adults and our family has always been close. My oldest believes in the LORD and we talk about Him often. I was diagnosed with cancer for the sectioned time in 13years. First it was leukemia the LORD and a lot of prayers from a lot of people brought me through that. I was cancer free for 13 years. August of this year it was lymphoma non Hodgkin. That scared everyone and my youngest son started praying so that's a step in the right direction. I there.are a lot of people praying for me again so I know the Lord will bring me through it again. I guess why I am telling our story is walk away from the church not the people because you need that fellowship and "where two or three are gathered the LORD will be there" (paraphrase d read John 3:16_17 " 16
for God so loved the world He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life
17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him"
If only one person will except the LORD as their Savior our testimony was worth it!
