Testimony: God Can Change You

Before giving my life to the Lord I was living a life of lesbianism. My personal life had fallen apart and I became homeless. Finding a safe place to sleep isn't easy when you're living on the streets so I decided the safest place for me was at a church. One night while laying on the ground I found myself looking up into the heavens and I started talking to God about how my life had been so sinful; that I was tired of living that way and needed His help to change.
Luckily, I still had my bible that my granny had given to me. I started reading in Psalms and every word spoke to me. Things began looking different to me; it was as if I was seeing things for the first time. I told the girl that I was with that I didn't want to be with her in that way any more. The closer I came to the Lord the more things got better.
Finally, I left on my own and I started going to church. Today I am free from that lifestyle. I joined a church and have been baptized. God has given me back everything that I lost plus he has renewed my joy. I give Him the glory. I'm so thankful that God allowed me to go through that season of suffering to let me know that I need Him. God can change you. I'm so glad He changed me.
