These commandments are in the Epistles (letters) following the Book of Acts. The epistles are to ALREADY established churches; they are instructions in righteous living for God. They are God's (Jesus) words given to the apostles, not mans words.

Joan: good question! The answer is easy and heartbreaking. Most churches today are in a sea of darkness, they're dead. They're nothing more than a social club. The unsaved don't know they're on a path to hell. These churches look and sound good. The Lord said these things will be in the end times! Read Matthew7:13, John6:44, ll Corinthians5:17
