  • Terry Davis on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
Romans 1;18 stood out in this chapter for me, and is the root of separation between God and man. Those that hold the truth in unrighteous, is unforgiving, and insisting that the truth that they know, is above a loving and forgiving God. For Brothers and Sisters the act of unforgiving is moving away from Grace, and toward Judgment. Grace is for the living, and doing good judgment is graceful 4you!

God words is PURE AND GIVE LIFE. let us repent to God in Jesus Name, and put away from the darkness. AMEN

Ma'am, If a man is truly born again, he is fully qualified because he is endowed with the Holy Spirit which enables him. Just like the Lord Jesus Christ, He was submissive to the will of the Father. Now, God has put a divine order: "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." 1 Corinthian 11:3.
  • Joyce Kasey on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
Please send me all scriptures which justify that a woman who is filled with the holy spirit can preach in church if no man is qualified.
  • Wayne on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
What was , now is ; who is it that sells the word of God? That makes a business out of souls? Who has not read the words from the mouth of Jesus; my fathers house is a house of prayer; But you have turned it into a den of thieves? The word of God is given to this generation. "As for tomorrow, the evil there of is sufficient unto that day."Salvation is for the world. Love is God.
  • Wayne on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
We sit at the table and feast while the hungry beg in the streets ,even up to the door. Love without action has no value. Now then having said that ,understand this ;for it written man cannot live by bread alone .But by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The way of God is not the way of man.
  • Eddy on Romans 1 - 8 years ago

  • Barbara S. on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
We all have a sinful nature. We need to be careful of how we judge the sins of others. We all have come short of the glory of God. I am sure we can all find ourselves at one place or another in this chapter. Love God enough to want to change but be careful of what you say you say about others. Paul wrote this to help us all.
  • Fabio Fiallos on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
it is a marvelous book, inspired by the Holy Spirit, why of all the letters Paul wrote this letter is the first in the New Testament, 1st Thessalonians was the first letter yet the letters are not in that order, who other than the Holy Spirit could have made such an order The book of Romans is the jewel of Paul's Letters.
  • Ubeh on Romans 1 - 8 years ago

  • Abby on Romans 1:20 - 8 years ago
How magnificent our God is and how he made his mark for all to see. It is sad that our classrooms refuse to give him the credit.
  • Praise on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
i honestly do not understand pastors that stand in the pulpit and say is ok to do things that the bible clearly condemns . I will like to pray that God would free every person from the lust of the eye and the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. We do not hate the cos they are under bondage ,but do not know it some have never even open the bible and do not even know about this chapter in the bible. Some are afraid to read the bible in case they will read the truth in the word of God. Some are just outright held hostage by the power of sin unable to break loose. I pray tonight for such. And may God forgive all of us because we are all afraid as Christians to tell the truth about this subject so that we will not be label as haters.
  • Dr.S.Gomez Sr. on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
I became a Christian in May of '79' and to this day I can't recall THREE PREACHERS teaching or preaching from this chapter.
  • LL on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
This chapter really get's right to the point. I love this chapter. When I read each scripture, It makes me shiver in fear...Knowing that those who choose to continue to walk in their own corruptness, will feel the wrath of our Lord. Oh, God forgive us and help us to preach your gospel to all..

There is no excuse to be without Jesus Christ : It will come out at the day of the Lord and all will know that Jesus Christ Is Lord to the Glory of God : And the whimsical conceptions of how all came about will fall to the ground : Nothing but Jesus !!!
  • Debbie on Romans 1:20 - 8 years ago
I love this scripture. it causes me to always reflect in our wonderful universe. what's holding the moon, stars, and all the planets up and keeps them there, nothing and no one but it's creater. and I love him for it. and we dont want to start talking about human life and the mysterious ways of procreation. what a awesome God we serve.
  • Evangelist on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
The supreme court decision never will stand the test of time, the act of man with man and woman with women will never be accepted in the will or eyes of God. The 26 and 27 verse speaks for it self.

My interpretation of this is as follows. Having more and more people engage in homosexual sex acts is a consequence. It is a punishment, to society, from the act of dishonoring God. God has revealed himself to man and man chose to disrespect God. Hence, the punishment. Furthermore, the punishment includes a lack of discernment. People can no longer tell right from wrong. Hence, the US Supreme Court and ordinary people can no longer discern. God has also allowed man to suffer in their own evil. Murder, deceit, malice are mentioned. These seem perfect descriptions of modern-day massacres, dishonesty, and politics. Another thing that may be related to this chapter is that God said marriage should not be put asunder . If Christians allowed divorce, it s because of their evil hearts. If Christians, themselves, choose to allow divorce and therefore disrespect God , then this may also explain God s anger in Romans 1. We need to step back from calling homosexuals bad people, and read this chapter again. The fault seems to be with society as a whole Christians and non-Christians . The sin seems to be the matter of disrespecting God. The lack of discernment seems to be the punishment. The lack of discernment leads to indecent acts, murder, and deceit.
  • Shelley on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
and people wonder today if homosexuality is a sin!Do we already have a large number of missed diagnosed people running around in the world that are on prescriptions by a medical docter but the real truth being that GOD has turned them over to a reprobate mind!Because of the sin in their lives! I 'll answer that myself "YES "
  • Daniel on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
Romans 1 is loaded as Paul gave his account on the true realization of Christianity and what is the standard for all of us Christians. In terms of sexual orientation we should continue to pray for God 's will to prevail, but no man can what an individual wants to do because this is private affairs.
  • Randy on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
the worst lie in the world is when pastors say if we are believers and sin we will still go to heaven. this is what romans is talking about. The people of Sodom and gamora new god but did all of these sins and thought they were still ok. here is an thought if we cook a meal sit it on a table an wait a month to eat it what would it smell like.it says in the bible that sin stinks in the nostrils of God. So if we would not eat it. Why do we think god would except it. in John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. I pray that if you have sin in your life please! repent your eternal soul is at stake.
  • Joanie on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
I believe homosexuality is a sin- but what do we do with the theology? that sin is sin and that one sin is the same as any other sin?
  • Anne on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
Even IF homosexuals profess to believe in the Bible, HOW can they justify their actions when they are clearly condemned NO mincing of words in Chapter 1: verses 18-12!!??
  • Carol on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
Verse 32 tells us plainly that not only do they practice this lifestyle but those who don 't still have pleasure in those that do. I see it on every forum. They have changed the truth of God into a lie.II Peter tells us that Sodom Gomorrah was destroyed as an example to those who should follow. Well if God destroyed these vile cities as an example, what is coming to this country? Our corrupt leaders have put their ok to sin.May God show mercy upon this sinful and rebellious nation.
