People's Bible Notes for Romans 14:8

Ro 14:8 We are the Lord's. While living, the aim must be to do the Lord's will, and even when we die we will be fully resigned to his will. We are not at our own disposal.

Eternal truths- For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

ROMANS 14:17 FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT MEAT OR DRINK BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT --- JOHN 6:63 IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT QUICKENETH THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING THE WORDS I SPEAK UNTO YOU THEY ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE --- ROMANS 14:21 IT IS GOOD NEITHER TO EAT FLESH NOR TO DRINK WINE NOR ANYTHING WHEREBY THY BROTHER STUMBLETH OR IS OFFENDED OR IS MADE WEAK

Romans 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. God is in control of everything , Satan has to ask permission.

Edna, James 2:21 "Abraham our father justified by works." Galations 3:11 "Not justified by the law." Under the umbrella of Salvation we are justified by works, and justified not by works. I am not disputing against Galations 3:11. I consider the whole counsel of the Lord. Ro.14:22 "Happy is he that condemneth not himself in the things God allows" Allowing men to be justified by works and not.

Verse 13 is a good reminder that we should stop judging others. We are all imperfect and it is not our place to judge others.
