There are no new revelations -- If someone says they received a new revelation they are saying Jesus was wrong? John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
  • Mishael - in Reply on Revelation 21
The Holy Spirit is our Teacher. He's the revealer of scripture to our hearts and minds. He will not give 'meat' to a lambs (baby Christians.)

Have you heard the words of the sword and the spirit? The Holy Spirit teaches us how to defeat Satan & his demons, in the spirit realm. Must have the armor of God on, to do spiritual warfare. Also, prayer and fasting: Daniel 10:2-3

How many of you know well that it is harder to fight an invisible enemy? That's why we build ourselves up on the Word of God.
  • If we rely on Jehovah God and do our part to overcome trials and temptations then we can have his favor and be successful.
  • Dave on Revelation 21
Why do you all think the LORD is so weak? " new Jerusalem is within us". The New Jerusalem is EXACTLY what HE said. A 1500 mile cube within a diamond sphere. That "teacher" will regret his teaching some day as he is leading people, weak people, to doubt the LORD.
  • David on Revelation 21
Why do people who don't understand a passage always say it is subjective. The Word of the LORD is real and literal. Don't act as if a thing is too much or too great for the LORD. The city is as described as a 12,000 furlong (1500 mile) per side cube with a wall ( a sphere) of jasper ( diamond) around it. Do the math.same size as moon and the moon. Aliens? Try fallen angels to fool us
  • Charley on Revelation 21

  • Barbara on Revelation 21
Ron......The bible says "in hell he lifted his eyes"..speaking of the rich man....I don't think hell is a place where souls will burn and be's a place where there will be torment, but it's a place that people choose to go..your right that God doesn't torture and God doesn't send people to hell....That's why he sent his only son; so we wouldn't have to go to hell.....
  • Servant of the most high God on Revelation 21
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Very very clear Jesus is talking about PEOPLE going into everlasting fire. fire that never ends. Do Not Mock God
  • Servant of the most high God on Revelation 21

  • Anonymous on Revelation 21
The Bible very clearly mentions an eternal Hell in several passages. All sin must be paid for because God is just. Sin is either paid for by eternal damnation in a literal Hell, or by the sacrifice of Christ.

II Corinthians 5:6-8 expounds upon our souls being either in the body or with the Lord, and so we know that we will be in Heaven while our earthly bodies remain in the ground.
  • Bill gunn - in Reply on Revelation 21
Hi Anonymous my friend, Heaven, hell, or the lake of fire are not available yet. Jesus goes to prepare a place for us where some day we will be with the father here on earth If we found with his blood covering our sins. Heaven is not a home in the since living with God where he abode now. He is omnipresence there is not exact Home or place now. In Corth, it refer to a time instead of a place. Paul is speaking figuratively not actual place (Home). It same as me saying I feel like I am at home when I think of fishing at the lake. A time when I and you will be with the Lord for eternity..
  • Bobby Hutchinson on Revelation 21
My Bible says there will only be one kind of people in Heaven, that will be the SAVED, the LOST will be in Hell. There will be people from all Nations there if they are SAVED. The 144,000 Jews will be the ones witnessing during the first 3 1/2yrs. of the tribulation period, when The LORD returns to earth. But remember the JEWS are God's Chosen People.
  • Jean on Revelation 21
Rev 21:4 and God shall wipe away etc etc
and Isaiah 43:16-21 (v19) Behold I will do a new thing
Are these 2 books talking about the same thing? eg
When Israel and us will be together in the N/Jerusalem with Jesus being
King of kings and Lord of Lords for 1,000 years?
  • Hi Linda,. 144,000 is not literal, 12 x 12 is the number for the church or spiritual Israel, Jews and Gentiles, (the "new Jerusalem") the dead know nothing and wait in the grave like Lazarus did, (not heaven) for Christ's return to be "called" (resurrected). I agree God will not torture the unsaved in "hell". The second death (by fire) will consume them within seconds and sin will be gone forever.
  • Linda Morgan on Revelation 21
I believe that only 144.000 ( little flock) go to heaven and we will be in a death sleep. Until Jesus shouts " come out " at the time of the new paradise on earth. GOD wanted us all to live in a earthly paradise like Adam and Eve had. He wouldn't send us to heaven then send us back to earth. It's all in the bible.and he would not send people to a burning he'll. They will just die or stay dead.
  • Lorease on Revelation 21
Brother Roger, we will know each other as we have know one another on earth, however, the "relationship" will be different as Bro. Anthony stated, the relationship in glory will be based as brethren in Christ. Be blessed ... your granny will know that you were her grandson, and will be glad that you made it over as a brethren in Christ. Be Blessed!
  • Stephen B on Revelation 21
Roger Austin, you will indeed know your loved ones by name! And you will know all of the saints by name. Peter knew Moses and Elijah. Even the rich man knew Lazarus and 'father Abraham' though at that time there was a 'great gulf fixed' and he could not pass to them.
  • Anthony Terry on Revelation 21
No ma'm, I was teaching a brother of mine in dealing with his 17 year old daughter. Scripture tells that we will be brothers and sisters. Even here and now my wife is my wife but I am always to see her as my sister in Christ as well for this will be how we see each other within the Kingdom
  • Verse 8 brings out that the fearful or the cowards will not have a future. It is important that we be courageous.
  • Roger Austin on Revelation 21
when we get to heaven our love ones that went before us such as grandma mary will my soul no her as grandma mary?
  • Bruce on Revelation 21
John saw The New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven, V: 2 and 10. All Nations will walk in The Light, All that are Written in The Book of Life V: 24 and 27
  • Morgan on Revelation 21
Revelation very interesting, Is all nations allowed into the kingdom of heaven? well according to Chapter 21:12 only the twelve tribes of Israel is going into heaven. Is this confusion, I don't think so, from the beginning of the bible to the end it talks about on set of people who salvation is for. And these people has been downtrodden until this day, and I am not talking about the Jewish.
  • Verse 8~ In the Paradise all murderers will be destroyed and we will no longer have to live in pain or free. I look forward to the fulfillment of this prophecy.
  • Terrence Charles on Revelation 21
leave it to God with pureness of heart
  • Terrence Charles on Revelation 21
I believe in the Most High God above all
  • Verse 5: Jehovah God has promised that he will soon make all things new and in the Bible we find the many promises written down so that we can have hope.
  • Julzlie on Revelation 21
I love to see the House of my God it is made of FureGold, and we can walk to the transparent acts 2: 38 then peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and yea shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. mark 16:16 He that Believeth and is Baptized shall be save ; but he that believeth not shall be domned.
  • Librarygal143 on Revelation 21
Praying for all those who are asking for prayer!
  • A disciple on Revelation 21
"He that overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." When the Lord Jesus began to teach His disciples about the kingdom of heaven He was expounding on the same things as He was preaching in the Synagogues all across the Country. He was the Glad Tidings of Salvation come in the flesh, to give His life a ransom and save us from our sins and to teach us by word and example what we must do in order to be found worthy of really and finally obtaining the benefit. "If ye love me, keep my commandments and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever even the Spirit of truth.." We who believe in Jesus, love Him and we work out our salvation with fear and trembling, to stay true to Him, and to be a light for others to see Jesus in us. God made us to be His children. Sin has polluted our conscience, marred the image of God in our character, and made us unfit for His presence. Sin brought us death, and works out death in us. The Lord Jesus Christ was manifested to take away our sins and reconcile us to God and has given us His Spirit into our hearts to help us do the work of changing into that man or woman after God's own heart, as He originally intended for us to be.
  • I AM on Revelation 21
Behold, I make all things new.
