    I listen to what Christians day about the election; especially this one. The allegations of ballot fraud, the scramble to protect the ballots. It makes people say things like "why even participate?"

    You hear various reasons (excuses) why they didn't get to the polls to vote, the day after the election: it's raining, it's cold, my kids are home alone, etc.

    I'm thinking that voting is a privilege and an American duty; certainly a Christian duty.

    The the Holy Spirit quietly spoke: Jesus hung on the Cross for hours, in great pain, to purchase our freedom from sin and to ratify the New Covenant.

    The unifying cry of this election seems to be over abortion and the funding of Planned Parenthood. Personally I think Nancy Pelosi should be forced to step down By her party.

    I'm a republican too. Our President is pro-life and is doing all he can to limit funding of those who don't care if a child lives or dies. It never occurs to them that they are killing America's future taxpayers, teachers, doctors. The 20-something's have no hope of social security having funds when they retire. We can't fix it. Abortion was legalized in 1973. The future taxpayers will be clones?

    I'm voting for the Party that does not condone the killing of the future of America! And I do mean the babies. I cast my vote and my prayers for them. They have souls & those millions of souls are Gods! They are alive and well in paradise.

    I also vote for Israel. Christians know they're the iris of Gods eye, and our treatment of them is followed closely in Heaven. "I will bless those that bless Israel." Jesus's return is close. The signs are here. The prophesies are in place. Our national news cuts those stories, but there are others who report them.

    Don't let us be foolish virgins. Make up your mind now. Look up for your Redeemer. May God give us discernment of the time.

    It is interesting that you say you do not see "red or blue," yet you're promoting ACLJ, which is politically conservative (Republican). I am a Republican, and also a devote follower of the Word of God. If we lived in a perfect world, where one could trust one another to always do what's right, we could dissolve all lines/boundaries. However, there is a great divide in our Nation, and the chasm grows deeper and wider with each passing day. Christians/Christianity is/are being openly attacked. Our faith and belief is frowned upon by the overall majority of citizens. If we were to analyze the platforms of the Democratic party; their actions and comments, we would see they are illogical; to such an extent as to make one question their sanity. I firmly believe the Great Deceiver has them in their grasp, controlling their actions and comments. One the other hand, some of the actions and comments of our Republican officials also cause concern. Politics and religion are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Yes, our Nation was founded on the principles of religion, but politics is the Devil's playground...in my opinion. These are perilous times. We must vote as our conscience dictates, while simultaneously praying our Lord will deliver us. May God bless you.

    After you go to ALCJ website put /petition

    It should fetch all of them or one at a time. If you subscribe to the website you'll get every petition in your email.

    May our Christian votes be cast For the Candidate that stands with the citizens that lost their lives before they could live.

    Myself only, I keep my eyes on God in this matter. My vote is for God and the babies.

    I do not see blue or red. I look to God.

    I will be at the Bema Seat Judgment with Christ Jesus to receive rewards or loss of rewards. I will not be afraid, for it to be published, for how I voted.

    A vote seems such an inconsequential thing to do. It's cold, it's raining, I'll have to stand in line for hours maybe. I do it for Jesus. He hung on a Cross for hours, for me. Yeah, I do it for Him who loved me first. God bless America.

    Also, the Catholic Church has penance for sins. So, pray The Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and soul and All Three of The Trinity as Mother Elizabeth did per the Catholic Catechism in English book.
  • Sandra - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 3 years ago
    The Catholic faith has many biblical things right. Apostles' Creed and The Nicene Creed, confessions of sins committed, The Holy Communion, good works, the gathering together, The Catechism in English does explain very detailed the Doctrine beliefs of The Catholic Faith (After the explanation of The Trinity it has a note of Mother Elizabeth praying for All Three of The Trinity to come into her soul and heart.) The baptism as a baby is a dedication of babies to God. Popes for years have a belief that the anti-Christ will be a Catholic Pope. Therefore, even Popes train to not worship any Pope. In the past Mother Mary was so honored that she became liken to being worshiped as an idol, the Popes agree that this is not to be done. Honoring Mother Mary's testimony in Christ is fine. Questionable perception of the statues of saints. These are not to be worshiped either. Statues of saints are to be like remembrance of our family members of photographs. Pray to The Father and not to any deceased person. The Body of Christ in all churches is The Church. One catholic Apostolic Church. Lower case c here to denote all churches in Christ as The Body of Christ. The Rosary should be Hail Jesus Christ not Hail Mary Mother of God. There are wolves dressed in sheep's clothing in all churches and church groups. So at any gathering of church topics, put on your Armour moreso! Be aware. Just as you are discerning of having wise associates in your life. There are cults too.

    "Every Morning Mercies New"

    Every morning mercies new Fall as fresh morning dew;

    Every morning let us pay Tribute with the early day;

    For Thy mercies, Lord are sure; Thy compassion doth endure.

    Still the greatness of Thy love Daily doth our sins remove;

    Daily far as east from west, Lifts the burdens from the breast;

    Gives unbought, to those who pray, Strength to stand in evil day.

    Let our prayers each morn prevail, That these gifts may never fail;

    And, as we confess the sin And the tempter's power within,

    Feed us with the Bread of Life; Fit us for our daily strife.

    As the morning light returns, As the sun with splendor burns,

    Teach us still to turn to Thee, Ever blessed Trinity,

    With our hands our hearts to raise, In unfailing prayer and praise.

    Lamentations 3:20-26

    20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

    21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

    22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion fail not.

    23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

    24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore I hope in him.

    25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

    26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

    This blessing is in the name of God, of the Holy Trinity, it is an act of adoration. The Father is first named; he is described as the Jehovah who is, and who was, and who is to come, eternal, unchangeable. The Holy Spirit is called the seven spirits, the perfect Spirit of God, in whom there is a diversity of gifts and operations. The Lord Jesus Christ was from eternity, a Witness to all the counsels of God. He is the First-born from the dead, who will by his own power raise up his people. He is the Prince of the kings of the earth; by him their counsels are overruled, and to him they are accountable.

    Grungebyte, you said "The Rapture which was an invention by an Irish priest in 1830 after a 15-year old Irish girl related her dream to him. To this day many Christians still believe in that foolishness." I believe in the Rapture as prophesied in the KJV Bible: My Pastor says when things are repeated 3 or more times, they're important. There are other scriptures foretelling the Rapture so it must be important.

    1 Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

    1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

    Matthew 24:31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

    Luke 12:40 - Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

    1 Thessalonians 5:2 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

    Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

    Mark 13:32-33 - But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

    Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

    Great news and we find that its by *GODS* grace that saved us, and hungering and hopefully baptized we are filled with the holy *GHOST* Acts 2:38 or a type Acts 19, and Jude 20,*WHO* indeed brings forth fruit as we yield to *HIS* behests, and *HE* communicates to us from the THRONE, not speaking of *HIMSELF* but presents the perfect picture of humility in glorifying *JESUS* the *WORD* *WHO* in turn has asked us to ask our *FATHER* *WHO* is not far from anyone of us. *HIS* Eye is in every place beholding the evil and the good. Innumerable holy Angels, 2 to 1 of the fallen ones, who are used and revel in mischief to Psalm 119:67 :-) Fresh manna daily as we read Earths greatest Treasure, THE WORD OF *GOD* which shall be quickened to the true seeker for sure. *G* B U EVER, so rejoice in thanks and praise. I've written on this before. It's in the 1-100 history pages somewhere. I only know what the Lord spoke to me. I don't know much about how Catholics worship. The issue came about because of public hatred towards Catholics. Jesus sent this through the Holy Spirit to teach us.

    When Archangel Gabriel told Mary what was going to happen. Luke 1:48 is a PROPHESY that has been continually performed throughout generations of Catholics mostly.

    Why is this done? Mary is Jesus's mother!

    Jesus wants his mother's name to be blessed.

    Can any of us remember in a Baptist, Charismatic, Assembly of God, Pentecostal, Methodist, Presbyterian, & 10,000 others EVER say what's written in Luke 1:42 ???!!

    No One Does! Every year we give Mary a place in our Christmas manger scenes in the front of our homes because the public tells the Churches that manger scenes at the Churches are illegal now.

    Look at the Christmas programs: people spending big loot to out decorate their neighbors!! Does anyone else hate this?

    This is Jesus's Mom! All cowards should be ashamed: my opinion. My opinion and $1.50 will get me a ride downtown on a bus.

    "All generations shall call me Blessed." Who in the Church world has fulfilled that prophesy? Just this approaching holiday season, may we truly celebrate Jesus and the whole family of God around the globe.

    Eat green popcorn balls and tell our testimonies of when we became Christians.

    Let the kids hear the story of Jesus's birth.

    If we do this I pray that God will turn back the virus, to whom released it on the world.

    I'm really praying that all of us will remember those who are grieving with loss.

    Help us to turn towards God again with our whole heart, kneel and ask for favor against this virus. The Body of Christ can do that.

    Last year I sat down for many days and read all the way from Joshua to Chronicles to find out a mystery. God showed me, that EVERY time the nations repented and turned back to God, he helped them.

    I'm Christian. I worship Jesus Christ. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Not Mary or anyone else. Where in the Bible does it say to worship Mary, or anyone else? I know where it says to not worship idols.

    In Christian church the Bible is freely used, open and taught. Is this so in Catholicism? No.

    How many more shall I add to this list?
  • Grungebyte - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 3 years ago
    Adam,

    >>Jesus said in John 14:6 "...no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." but Catholics instead elect a Pope to do exactly the opposite- to come in between you and Jesus.

    OOPS! Now it seems that you have misinterpreted the meaning of that verse. I am positive that it has nothing to do with coming between anyone. It has to do with Salvation according to mainstream Christianity. No one comes to the Father - is saved - except by the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Forgive me please if we are talking at cross purposes but I believe that I am right about this.

    The thing about the Pope is that he is supposed to be the Vicar of Christ - essentially Jesus's representative. According to the New Testament Christians are "of a royal priesthood" and of course do not need an earthly priest to intercede as you've pointed out. There is only one Melchizedek priest - Jesus Christ Himself - whom we pray to intercede for us during prayer.

    I agree with you Adam that Catholicism - in all probability - isn't the correct religion. That is probably true. However Catholics themselves are indeed true Christians. Why? Because they believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Saviour. And that - according to the Bible - is all it takes.

    May the Force be with you Adam.
  • Grungebyte - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 3 years ago
    Adam, sadly you are doing the one thing that epitomizes one of the failings of Christianity. There are pros and cons to all of the 11 living religions. I don't mean the beads and the snakes but the living religions. One of the cons or failings of Christianity is that Christians often pay more attention to dogma or to which Christian sect is more correct than to the lofty ideals of Jesus Himself.

    "Believe on me."--Jesus Christ.

    Btw, you yourself don't pay a lot of attention to the Bible either. Trust me. I'll wager that you think that Revelation is all about the future and you are also waiting for the silly Rapture. Right? The first eleven chapters of Revelation are in the PRESENT tense not future tense and the Rapture isn't Biblical. So my strong advice is to revisit your Bible.

    May the Lord be with you Adam.

    Teresa,

    Catholics ARE Christians. Protestants erroneously conflate Catholicism with something evil strictly because the Vatican is surrounded by seven hills as in Revelation. REALLY? That is the truth. Those same nuts believe in The Rapture which was an invention by an Irish priest in 1830 after a 15-year old Irish girl related her dream to him. To this day many Christians still believe in that foolishness. btw, 2000 years ago the faction that became the Catholic also believed that Mary was the twin soul of the Master as she was also born of a virgin - Ann - as virgin births are a universal law as Mary was also immaculately conceived. But the Christian faction that later became the Protestant - to this day - vehemently disagreed with the Catholic faction believing that there can only be one virgin birth while the Catholics believed that if you can have one why not two but even that got changed about 600 years later to be born without original sin because two virgin births were difficult to swallow.

    "The Saviour of the world will be born the same way I was born [of a virgin]"--Zoroaster - 500 years before the Master walked the earth.

    The true church is the Philadelphia church, correct. So, ask the Lord Jesus Christ to show you which church is the TRUE Philadelphia church according to God's Word (the Bible). Trying reading Matthew 16:15-18 9SIGNS OF THE TRUE CHURCH). Also read the following scriptures: Acts, 2:38 (baptism), Acts 4:12 (baptizing in the NAME of JESUS and the filling of the Holy Spirit) as Jesus did in Matthew 3:16. You have a father, but he has a name....just like our Heavenly Father. Also, read John 3:5: Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews asked Jesus how to be born again. This is the only Bible evidence of salvation and the way to enter heaven. The Word of God says to ASK and ye shall receive, Seek and ye shall find, KNOCK and the door shall be opened unto to--taking the first alphabet of ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK = ASK. If you really want to know, ASK Jesus and if your BELIEVE, He will show you by HIS WORD (the Bible). Hope this comforts your soul. There is a church that practices all these scriptures (in Hawaii): baptism in Jesus name, filling of the Holy Spirit, and praying unceasingly that the whole world come to the true and accurate knowledge of the TRUTH.

    I am very happy that you found the truth . but there is just 2 things i want to tell you . 1 is do not worry about putting your faith in any church no matter what church it may be the church of god , catholic or even baptist just read the king james bible first edition and study the word of god . and the other is i want to tell you about les feldick because he reads only from the kjb and is not with any church at all . he is on direct tv on channels from 364 to 372 in there at different times . the reason i want to tell you about him is he reads the scripture and then explains it to you . i used to find it so hard to understand the scriptures but he explains it and makes it so easy to understand . and he will only show you the scriptures when he explains it to you . again so happy you found your way to the kjb and i will see you in heaven one day to you and your husband !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
