Wesley's Notes for Revelation 4:9

4:9-10 And when the living creatures give glory - the elders fall down - That is, as often as the living creatures give glory, immediately the elders fall down. The expression implies, that they did so at the same instant, and that they both did this frequently. The living creatures do not say directly, Holy, holy, holy art thou; but only bend a little, out of deep reverence, and say, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord. But the elders, when they are fallen down, may say, Worthy art thou, O Lord our God.

People's Bible Notes for Revelation 4:9

Re 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him. Shall utter such praises as are given in Re 4:8. Then the twenty-four elders also join in swelling the anthems. It will be noted that these two classes, whatever they signify, are both about the throne, and both engage in harmonious praise of the Almighty.

Mother01;the revelation of Jesus Christ is about past present and future...The beasts represent the four Gospels being preached...Lion=Mathew;Calf=Marc;Man=Luke; Eagle=John...Satan has been cast to earth already and is the ruler of the air...The short time isn't three and a half years,it's a short existence in this age compared to eternity...God bless all here...Meditate in the word day and night

Revelation 4 speaks of things to come and how the elders and the beast glorified God with their worship. The 4th beast had wings and was saying repeatedly holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty. And the elders bowed down and worshipped Him. Oh what a wonderful passage of hope in a time like this, the end times.

I'm reading the whole revelations because of the strife and warfare and anger and faithfulness that I see going on in America....I believe that we are at the time of the end.

WOW! In chapter 1-4 of Revelation all human-beings are given the 'written test of GOD' thereby each of us can give a personal examination to our self... after examining our self by this this test / chapter 1-4... we shall know where he or she stand in the sight of GOD especially as it relates to salvation through 'Jesus Christ the Son of GOD', WOW!.
