Wesley's Notes for Revelation 21:24

21:24 And the nations - The whole verse is taken from #Isaiah 60:3|. Shall walk by the light thereof - Which throws itself outward from the city far and near. And the kings of the earth - Those of them who have a part there. Bring their glory into it - Not their old glory, which is now abolished; but such as becomes the new earth, and receives an immense addition by their entrance into the city.

Ernest Foster, when you pray, pray to God the Father, and when you end your pray, say in Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen

We had a speaker to come in for Wednesday night Bible study, who had revelation that the New Jerusalem will be within us:vs 2

Ernest Foster; the Father isn't jealous if you pray to His Son, but Jesus Himself tells us that the Father Himself loves us, and praying to Him in Jesus' name He hears. The Father is greater than all, and the Son has told us that He Himself is subject to the Father; and that He sits at the right hand of the Father in His throne, interceding for us. Does that help you?

Ernest; Its pretty easy to find out what the conversion is for furlongs to miles; 12,000 furlongs is 1500 miles. My only question is whether that is all the way around, or on each side "foursquare." A cubit is 18 inches, or, the length between your inner elbow to the end of your middle finger. So the wall being 144 cubits is 216 feet high and the length of each side of the city probably 375 miles.
