Wesley's Notes for Revelation 20:7

20:7 And when the former thousand years are fulfilled, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison - At the same time that the first resurrection begins. There is a great resemblance between this passage and #Rev 12:12|. At the casting out of the dragon, there was joy in heaven, but there was woe upon earth: so at the loosing of Satan, the saints begin to reign with Christ; but the nations on earth are deceived.

People's Bible Notes for Revelation 20:7

Re 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed. The earth shall have its golden age, but it shall not last forever. Satan shall, when many aged have rolled away, be loosed for a little season. From some cause that is wrapped in the darkness of the future, righteousness shall wane; wickedness shall revive; the great adversary shall in part regain his influence over our race. But it is cheering to know that his triumph will be short. He shall be loosed only "for a little season" (Re 20:3).

Discussion for Revelation 20:7

  • SAM KABUTHU for verse 7
Acording to the life we are going through right now it shows that he has been loosen from his prison already and he doing his job by decieving people all over the world and every body see this
  • Sid Williams for verse 7
You have been deceived by the Pope. There are no textual words, "are expired." Daniel describes Millennium -- to ever-- 7.27. I am a resident of New Jerusalem and thousand years. Also "when" (Rev. 20.7) is actually, "with" (meta). I have only Bible translation with "real words." The Pope and the Antichrist Jews have their hooks in you.
  • George Strickland for verse 7
The people born in the Millennium will be real people with body, soul and spirit. Does it not stand to reason that they too will have to make a deliberate decision to serve God of their own volition as Adam and Eve, and all mankind, have?
That choice is not available during the Millenium, is it?
