Bible Commentary for Revelation 19:20

Wesley's Notes for Revelation 19:20

19:20 The false prophet, who had wrought the miracles before him - And therefore shared in his punishment; these two ungodly men were cast alive - Without undergoing bodily death. Into the lake of fire - And that before the devil himself, #Rev 20:10|. Here is the last of the beast. After several repeated strokes of omnipotence, he is gone alive into hell. There were two that went alive into heaven; perhaps there are two that go alive into hell. It may be, Enoch and Elijah entered at once into glory, without first waiting in paradise; the beast and the false prophet plunge at once into the extremest degree of torment, without being reserved in chains of darkness till the judgment of the great day. Surely, none but the beast of Rome would have hardened himself thus against the God he pretended to adore, or refused to have repented under such dreadful, repeated visitations! Well is he styled a beast, from his carnal and vile affections; a wild beast, from his savage and cruel spirit! The rest were slain - A like difference is afterwards made between the devil, and Gog and Magog, #Rev 20:9|,10.

People's Bible Notes for Revelation 19:20

Re 19:20 And the beast was taken. It is the beast's last appearance. He is now finally overthrown. And with him the false prophet. The false prophet, the beast, and the dragon have been named in Re 16:13 as calling the kings of the earth to the battle of Armageddon. See PNT "Re 16:3". This is the same conflict is given. That wrought the miracles. This description identifies the false prophet. He is the lamb-like dragon of Re 13:11, the false spiritual despotism, the apostate church. This false prophet is now taken. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire. In Re 18:8 it is said that Babylon shall be burned with fire. Here the false prophet, both symbols of the same power, is cast into the lake of fire. The symbol indicates utter destruction. What is cast into this lake is seen no more.

It must hurt God's heart to give life and have it taken away so young as babies in there mother's womb. I do believe that sin becomes sin when we know it is sin and still do it, so if God gave a few commandments to show we are sinners but let us choose what we will do he also knows when we realise it to be sin and judges us wisely. The thing is we are all short when it comes to the choices in life but he gave away out and his name is Jesus. We choose life are death and once saved we must as children learn the ways of our father.
  • The Word also says the letter kills but the Spirit is life.

    Spiritual things are spiritually understood.

The word also says there is neither male or female in Christ.

Als neither Jew nor Greek but one new man.

And when we are in the spirit we are the voice of God.

If a woman is born again of the spit of God the Word says we all have the power to become The sons of God.

When one is moving in the Holy Spirit the are moving in the true Man Christ.

    Weather male or female.

If a man is not moving in the anointing of Christ he is in the flesh which is denial in relationship to the Man Christ.

The spiritual man lays down his life for his wife asChrist for the Church (the Body of Christ made up of all believers male and female.

    Both equal in Christ.

Natural man would have woman be subject to him where The spiritual man in Christ as God would see her as the object of his love and laid down his life for Her (his bride the church)

All members of Christ's body the church are female to God.

And this applies to all members of the Body of Christ men and women.

In Geniuses it show man starting as male and female but one.

The world says the 5 fold ministry in Ephesians is given that we may all grow up into one new Man in Christ.

A true Spiritual Man is a man when he is moving in the Spirit of Christ. Then he has authority love and covering.

Otherwise he is female in relationship to Christ and wise to move under a covering.

God loves his people and desire us to love him and one another.

Jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes upon you He will lead you into all truth. Jesus is truth and truths will always be on with him who is the living word and dwells in his people.

We are free to know the truth and to hear his voice. For he became the way the truth and the life we live.

I have not shared like this before so I ask that you have grace with my grammar.

Just ask God to show the truth and he will. Seek and we shall find.

    God Bless & Spirit lead.

verse 4, And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and WORSHIPPED GOD that sat on the throne, saying, AMEN; ALLELUIA. 5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our GOD, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

Note: the Great Whore is now destroyed, but notice the the 'reminder' to us /the remnant who has rightly applied John 3:16-21.... verse 4 we are required to WORSHIP & PRAISE GOD /JEHOVAH.

Note: Locked in and can't go out WORSHIP & PRAISE GOD /JEHOVAH. Job gone, repo-man looking & calling, eviction notice, on and on... WORSHIP & PRAISE is what GOD want from us in such TIMES AS THESE.

Note:So-call friends don't call, well they are.... also. Yes, in many cases the preachers is looked down also. So WORSHIP & PRAISE GOD /JEHOVAH where ever we be, because WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS ALL OUR SINS AND GRIEF TO BARE. The kings /nations's leaders can not buy the mankind out this. Today is a good time to review Revelation chapter 2 & 3.
