Why does it have strange spelling?
1 An exhortation to praise God, 4 for his greatnesse, 8 For his kingdome, 11 For his generall iudgement.
O sing vnto the Lord a new song: sing vnto the Lord all the earth.1
Sing vnto the Lord, blesse his name: shew forth his saluation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the heathen: his wonders among all people.
For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: hee is to be feared aboue all Gods.
For all the gods of the nations are idoles: but the Lord made the heauens.
Honour and maiestie are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Giue vnto the Lord (O yee kinreds of the people:) giue vnto the Lord glory and strength.
Giue vnto the Lord the glory due vnto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.8
O worship the Lord, in the beautie of holinesse: feare before him all the earth.9
Say among the heathen, that the Lord reigneth: the world also shalbe established that it shall not be moued: he shall iudge the people righteously.10
Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roare, and the fulnesse thereof.
Let the field be ioyfull, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood reioyce
Before the Lord, for hee commeth, for hee commeth to iudge the earth: hee shall iudge the world with righteousnesse, and the people with his trueth.
