Amen, Amen. Trust in the Lord, lean not to our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him, He will direct our path. It's all about Him. The sacrifice he gave for us. No greater love than this. To God be the glory.

For me, this great act of the tearing of the Veil, is both one of personal gratitude (as you have shared) for the casting off the shackles of sin's bondage & entering into the Holiest Place, & also one of great sadness. Sadness, because the priests who saw this Divine Act coupled with an earthquake, yet refused to bow before the One whom they crucified. Rather they schemed to have the stone covering the entrance to Jesus' sepulchre guarded lest "the last error shall be worse than the first"( Mt 27:64). They knew they had done a great wrong & even to this day "when Moses (the Law) is read, the veil is upon their hearts"( 2 Cor 3:13-17). Such is Satan's work - BUT greater is Jesus' Sacrifice.

I'm thinking of Passover tonight and Jesus's sacrifice for us. When it was finished, the veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom! It was so huge no priest could've done that. It was a statement of great magnitude. Jesus has done so much for me. I want to be more like Him.

Find some youtube videos on Christian worship music and have it play in the background. Read the bible verses out loud to change the atmosphere around you. Keep confessing the Lordship/Sovereignty of Christ our aloud over all things on earth and heaven. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. Step out from the limitations on earth and soar with Christ on wings as eagles.

I think of what Christ went through nailed to a cross, for all of us sinners that if we believe in him, turn from our wicked ways, repent, and how could we not put our trust in Him, what he did for us, so we may live and not die, dont worry about this virus, keep your eyes on Him. I know be I here or be I there He's with me and I am with Him. God Bless you all, He said he left us his peace so take it claim it and cast your cares on him, his yoke is light, we aren't made to carry the burdens of this world pray for the Lost

Passover was the night before Moses led God's people out of egypt, He instructed them to place lambs blood on the top and sides of their doorway, so the angel of death would pass by, Jesus was God's sacrifice for all of the world, that whosoever believe in Him, turn from our evil ways, repent of
our sins, except Him as our Lord we shall live and not die. Praise the Lord Amen

Remember the bible says as a man thinkers in his heart so is he so heed the words of Jesus and when a bad thought comes don't accept them but chase them away with a scripture and pray psalms 34 to replace the bad thought. We all get bad thoughts that come to us. It's not the thought but what you do with it that make the difference. The thought is not who you are. you are a child of the most high God. Cast down every imagination and thought that tries to exalt itself against the word of God and what ever you do don't take the thought and say it for Jesus warned not to take bad thoughts and say them.

In the Bible days when there was a plague in the lane they placed blood over the door and death could not enter. By Easter Sunday, the media says the U.S. will be reaching its peak in death rates. But Passover is coming and we have placed a red ribbon to represent the our faith in the blood of Jesus over the door!

Greetings to you, I just want to let you know that I went from 13 pills to zero pills only because of the grace of God and his deliverance for me trusting in him and his powerful word that carry me through. Depression is a powerful word and deep experience with being always SAD, we all are blessed with the Bible, Basic Instruction... and that said there is a whole lot of positives in this world. So my advice to you seek your mind into the word and surround yourself with positive people and separate self from your idol mind and negative people. If God can be for you who can be against you. READ Romans Chapter 8. I was abuse by parent and family and through marriage, I'm now Free Indeed!

I will pray for you, I don't know what scripture you're reading but if you will look up scripture on depression and anxiety and read and read and read and pray and keep praying he WILL help you. What I just suggested to you is exactly what I did. We were in the midst of a trial and I am on medication but it wasn't helping, I was a hot mess. God Almighty delivered me from my depression and anxiety. I mean I'm still on my meds so I don't want to mislead you. But even though I was on my meds I still needed him and he is helping me so much! I keep your eyes and mind on Christ and I promise he will help you, but it takes hard work on your part too. You have to keep at it, don't give up God bless

Actually in Isaiah chapter 14:12-16, satan says I WILL 5 times!
God is not destroying people's lives. One of satans other names is: DESTROYER.
Pass it on. He is the accuser of the brethern. Revelation 12:10, Job 1:6,12 and Zechariah 3:1

Part of our problem is that we do not trust God. We think he does all the painful things. Like why is he allowing satan to get near us? That's that voice of the ACCUSER. Another name of satan... or, why doesn't Jesus just heal everybody?
Something I do is read all the red scriptures in my Bible. I wanna imprint what Jesus does, what he says. Something really happens to your perception. He doesn't argue, debate or nitpick.

Thank God for His Word, Promises, and Divine Protection He offers to us! Dear Lord, help us to continue to hold on to your unchanging hand as we draw closer to Your return and experience the prophecies of the End Times. Please help us to draw nearer to thee.

It makes me SO happy there are some others thinking to do this anointing over their doors! I am still pondering that the ancient times anointing was for one overnight and this is obviously a longer time for this current situation. But all i can think of is "One day is as a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years are as one day". Time is irrelevant to the Lord. It is only ours to trust in Him no matter how long it takes, right? "To those who endure to the end..."

Mine has the 2nd version. If you'll stop in at goodwill you might see the Bible you prefer. Maybe go online and contact Thomas Nelson Publishers and see if the carry the version with the "eths".

    Hello Everyone,
I just have a question about the Standard KJV being used here. I learned and memorized passage from the old KJV version (not the 1611 version), where it states in John 3:27 "A man receiveth nothing except it be given from on High." Now I am not quoting letter for letter of course, but noticed of all KJVs I am reading online at the moment, that verse is replaced with modern English text "A man receive nothing except it's given from heaven". I miss the 'receiveth' and 'on High' most especially in that verse. I am beginning to doubt, maybe I imagined the old text.
Any of you read same as me, or was it my imagination? Feels weird.
  • Adam - In Reply on Psalms 91 - 4 years ago
Pagans don't own everything. I will worship God on any day I choose and will not give in to falsehoods about pagans owning this or that part of my life. I reject that notion. I believe satan wants people to back off of worshipping or celebrating Christ on certain days even when Christians celebrated it first.

have any of the regular readers/commenters of this board considered the current covid 19 virus and resulting global financial meltdown in the context of Revelation chapter 18?

    Mark 13:25-27
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
