Dear Heavenly Father we long for the day when we can be reunited with you and all of heaven. We love you and are grateful for all you have done for us in our lifetimes here on earth. Please continue to guide us and lead us on the right path. Your words are a lamp unto our feet.
There is hardly any verse of the Bible that is more misunderstood than Jesus' words, "Do not judge so that you will not be judged" ( Matt. 7:1). And there is hardly any verse that is more frequently disobeyed among Christians than that verse! For years I have had it on my prayer list for myself, yet I have disobeyed it many times. I'm sure that I'm not an exception. Also, keep in mind that it is a sin to judge another person in your heart, even if you keep your thoughts to yourself. Judgmental words eventually will flow out of a judgmental heart, but the sin begins in the heart. It is a manifestation of pride; we think that we're better than others are.
In concluding this section on resolving conflicts ( James 4:1), James elaborates on Jesus' command against judging one another. His message is:
To resolve conflicts, stop judging others and submit to God's authoritative Word.
1. To resolve conflicts, stop judging others.
That command is easy to state, but it's a bit more complex to understand. So we need to carefully define this sin.
A. WHAT JUDGING OTHERS DOES NOT MEAN:
(1). IT IS NOT JUDGING SOMEONE TO BE DISCERNING WITH REGARD TO HIS CHARACTER OR TEACHING.
Many people cite Matthew 7:1 about not judging others, but they never bother to read down to verse 6, where Jesus says, "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine." He was talking about people who are dogs and swine! To obey verse 6, you must make some judgmental decisions about the person's character! "That guy is a dog! That guy is a swine!"
Also, if you keep reading ( Matt. 7:15), Jesus says, "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." It takes a discerning sheep to recognize, "That's not a true sheep! That's a wolf dressed like a sheep!" It requires judging the man's teaching as false.
We live in times when tolerance, unity, and "love" (usually means, being nice) are taught in church.

32-43 As soon as Christ was fastened to the cross, he prayed for those who crucified him. The great thing he died to purchase and procure for us, is the forgiveness of sin. This he prays for. Jesus was crucified between two thieves; in them were shown the different effects the cross of Christ would have upon the children of men in the preaching the gospel. One malefactor was hardened to the last. No troubles of themselves will change a wicked heart. The other was softened at the last: he was snatched as a brand out of the burning, and made a monument of Divine mercy. This gives no encouragement to any to put off repentance to their death-beds, or to hope that they shall then find mercy. It is certain that true repentance is never too late; but it is as certain that late repentance is seldom true. None can be sure they shall have time to repent at death, but every man may be sure he cannot have the advantages this penitent thief had. We shall see the case to be singular, if we observe the uncommon effects of God's grace upon this man. He reproved the other for railing on Christ. He owned that he deserved what was done to him. He believed Jesus to have suffered wrongfully. Observe his faith in this prayer. Christ was in the depth of disgrace, suffering as a deceiver, and not delivered by his Father. He made this profession before the wonders were displayed which put honour on Christ's sufferings, and startled the centurion. He believed in a life to come, and desired to be happy in that life; not like the other thief, to be only saved from the cross. Observe his humility in this prayer. All his request is, Lord, remember me; quite referring it to Jesus in what way to remember him. Thus he was humbled in true repentance, and he brought forth all the fruits for repentance his circumstances would admit. Christ upon the cross, is gracious like Christ upon the throne. I just did a cross-reference search for Psalm 91:7 and it does not cross-reference to any place in Matthew. It does list these places in scripture: Psalm 32:6, Joshua 14:10, Exodus 12:12-13, Numbers 14:37-38, Genesis 7:23.
Another way to find out would be to search a bible concordance for a particular word used in Psalm 91:7, such as the word "thousand" to find out everyplace that word appears in Matthew to see if it matches Psalm 91:7. Just know that it may take a little longer that way.

I knew the Holy Spirit led me to this book and had me send copies to those who needed it. A life of Peace and Comfort is a life built on God's promises. With all the ups and downs God's faithfulness stands. We have been abiding under His shadows and will continue to be..so numerous to be mentioned..His saving grace upon my family..provision of our various needs...protecting us all the way..saving my husband from a ghastly autocrash..he was in comma for three months but he survived it all with no scars..His grace for my childrens education..all miracles..His grace upon my life..saving us from all battles of life and His greatest miracle of delivering one of my children from bondage and the shackles of death.. Psalm 91 is prayer for overall protection and God's mercies.

I am an old woman with the spiritual life of a child of Jesus.This life began as a little child.And was fostered in a devout family of believers.Life has had many twists and turns.My heart was broken when my spouse left me with our three children to raise with only a court ordered amount of money. But with God's help I studied nursing and worked for many years across the spectrum of hospitals and nursing homes.My children worked their way through colleges-paying for it themselves also... by working while there.Their marriages are 25 year+long. Saints of God, I have experienced God in a way that I cannot explain for the past 5 years. All that I can say is that if it had not been for God, I would have been destroyed. I personally can attest to the ability of my mighty God to shelter from the storms of life. Everyday He is teaching me how to dwell in His presence. Are there distractions? "Yes, but with the distractions, I hear His voice calling me deeper into His presence. He love us men and women of God. The more we need Him, the closer He is willing to come into our messes, turning our messes into moments of victory!

The use of the word "made" in verse 9 does not imply that the LORD was created, but means that the people being blessed here by the psalmist have chosen the LORD as their own. The words "which is my refuge, even the most High," describe the LORD, so the phrase could be simplified to "Because thou hast made the LORD thy habitation;" .
In Jesus Christ we have obtained such a dwelling place by putting our trust in him according to who he is, his sacrificial death on the cross for our sins , his burial and his rising from the dead.
Satan misapplied some of this psalm during the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, but Jesus overcame him by the truth of the Word.
