"The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble." In Daniel 7:17 Wycliffe Bible is something for us to consider well for interpreting the vision and learning the words told us from the Lord. "These four great beasts be four realms, that shall rise of the earth. And he said, These four great beasts be four kingdoms, that shall rise upon the earth. " In the beginning, God spoke and the earth and all that was in it brought forth life after its kind. Thus it is of the world and the kingdoms of men that by the word of our God they are come into being "after their kind " and according to of what kind everything is, shall it be preserved or instead destroyed. We are of God, little children ALL thanks and praise forever to the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour! and as His children He will spare us if we serve Him with a pure heart in love, and with a good conscience toward God and men, and by faith without hypocrisy. By the sacrifice and offering of His only begotten Son Jesus the Anointed we have mercy and reconciliation, and complete deliverance from sin and death. He alone is worthy of all our love and perseverance through these fearful and dangerous times: and Jesus will be with us all the days, even to the end and will not fail to do ALL that He has said concerning us.

The Lord hast not forgotten them that seek Him. But the unGodly shall be as dust that is scattered in a hot wind, for they are not. Pray as Kind David prays. He sits upon his bed and meditates on the Glory of God. He is a King who has the wisdom to give praise and worship far unlike the AntiChrist whom we have to deal. For Satan comes first and he will let for a time until the reckoning.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 9 - 6 years ago
"Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men." But men and not gods, as was put before them in the garden. What glorious things will appear and happen when God tears away the lying veil from the eyes of the world. Fear/reverence for the person of God, without end, hallelujah. There is no saving this planet earth, which God will build anew, fit for eternity.

"To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben (translation: To Die For The Son), A Psalm of David." What's in a title? There seems to be many Psalms that David wrote, because of what happened over the matter of Absalom. Every line is full of deep meaning, of what is with the inner life with God. Our secrets sorrows, and the hard things He gives us to know, all shape our character and friendship with Him.

  • Irene123 on Psalms 9 - 7 years ago
The KJV, not the NEW KJV, is ALL I've ever read. I am 74. The other interpretations (not 'translations) read like worldly novels to me. The new kjv isn't so bad, but it's not the KJV.

  • MIchael C. on Psalms 9 - 7 years ago
18 "...the expectation of the poor shall [not] perish for ever." Take out the word "not," (in italics), and substitute the original Hebrew meaning "cords" for the word translated "expectation," the verse makes more sense in context to the whole Psalm: "...the needy shall not always be forgotten: the cords of the poor shall perish for ever." The world will be very different after the Lord comes.
