This verse is not to be taken lightly. To ask the Lord to examine me and try my heart is very serious I must be prepared for the revealing of things that need to be taken out of my life and replaced with new from the Lord !! To receive correction and possible chastisement . I must depend on my Lord to help me to rid myself of unclean actions and words in my life. The grace of my Lord God is sufficient . David was asking the LORD to check him out, and what the true motives of his heart or mind were. We need to be in his same position. We don 't want to be a fake, but follow God for genuine reasons, not just for show.

I am thankful and grateful God is so great and cares so much for us and about us.I was raised in church and taught right,Love hard work dedication are the way.In highschool peer pressure a need to feel connected trying to fit in I lost some of the light and dabbled in darkness.I am sorry and ashamed of this choice,now having made it to age 55 by the grace of God I am healing and choose to return to God.I know now I belong to him.I am proud and have abundance because he and I are closer now than ever before.Only through him are truly happy and sound,healthy and what he expects is for us to trust daily living for him our family other Christians spreading his joy.He is the truth the light and the way.Awesome!
The enemy will try to bribe us like he tried to do with Jesus. He want us in relationships that rob, steal, and kill. The devil knows his time is short but, the children of God time will be for eternity with Jesus!! So, like children we must hold on to to God unchanging hand because he is our protector .

King David said I will walk in mine integrity; redeem me, and be gracious unto me. King David hated the congregation of evil doers, and did not take bribes. How we need leaders like that today. The judicial system depends on people with integrity, and only then can justice be administered. The Lord executes justice for all those who are oppressed. If you are in need of adjudication, then cry out to God, for His ears are open to the righteous. King David said this poor man cried, and the Lord saved me from all my troubles.
