Psalms Chapter 120 Discussion Page 2

The Psalmist says I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war. There is no peace unto the wicked. They are like the troubled sea, that tosses to and fro. Jehovah will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trust in thee. Satan is a murderer, and the father of lies. We must hate lies, and speak the truth to your neighbor. All liars will find their spot in the lake of fire. The truth will set you free. May the Lord guide our hearts in the way of peace. Be at peace with all men, and follow holiness, for without holiness, no man will see the Lord.

A person who lies on a brother or sister in Christ is the same as murderer and such a person is in danger of the judgement. We should all be careful and mindful of our speech at all times. Too many people's good works have been destroyed by an evil tongue. These things can become warlike in their on way,setting people at odds one with another. Once these things are said,even if an opology has been made,they are out there spreading doubts and deceit. Peace to you all!

According to my understanding of this scripture, God wants us depart from lying lips and from deceitful tongue that will not speak the truth at all times. We're born of peace so we should seek. There is power in our tongue that is why it turns to war and our God is the God of war.

I believe that we being born into sin have burdens of the flesh. As we embrace life sometimes, we think with all the wrong intent only for what might we gain and not what might we do, to obtain salvation and do the will of God through Jesus Christ. Brotherly love to all. Amen.

I feel this scripture is asking God to protect You from People who are being deceitful and lying on You...because We are of Peace but when We speak "they" are for war...just my thoughts.

I FEEL THIS SCRIPTURE TELL GOD THAT WE ARE SORRY FOR LYING AND BEING DECIETFUL AND WANT HIM TO HELP US MAKE A CHANGE IN OUR LIFE AT LEAST THATS WHAT I GOT OUT OF IT AND IT'S ALSO THE SCRIPTURE I READ ALOT FOR A CHANGE IN THINGS THAT COULD HINDER ME FROM HEAVEN.

Ilove the Bible and I try to keep from saying or doing things thats not pleasing to my Lord and SAVIOR.\

As a Christian u must be pure and hournest as th middle is to the pole. Because the word of the lord is true so we must be pure and truthful obeyed to the word of god ad the word of god is cos Jesus said he whom accept me asept the truth so we need to be truthful to the word.

i BELIEVE THAT WE MUST CLEAN OUR LIPS FROM LYING AND BE RESTORED BACK TO JESUS.
