Ps. 119:42 - On this site - I need that encouragement. Sometimes the 'darts' hurt, but then I remember - it's not about me, it's about HIM!!

The Lord Jesus loves every soul; He hears our prayers for every soul. Ps. 119:42. Where our souls spend eternity is such a very serious thing!! Jesus prayed for those who crucified Him, as did Stephen, as did ALL Jesus apostles and disciples - that stayed with Him to their end.

Gods word heals the body and soul ! Learn his word day and night . He is always with u. Always thank him for he is always good!

Every experience man is going through in life is in the word of God and God has made a way of escape through His word. The entrance of His word giveth light. God's Word is light to all situations.

To Katapalca - I think maybe the 'consistency' of David's references to the word, law, judgments in almost every verse in this whole Psalm is what you were referring when you said, "..... always turning to the word ..... ? It's a GREAT Ps., isn't it? I'm sure very few people notice the consistency character of it. I did just now as I re-read it just before sending you this.

Psalms 119:2, that prayer is our main source of communication between Heaven and Earth. We must study Gods word to learn of him so that eventually it is planted in our heart so that it becomes a part of our everyday life. Prayer is the medicine to remain on track with God.

I really love Psalm 119 it teaches us that loving the Word of God is a very good thing and will bless us. In stipe of all that David went thru he always turned to the Word.

Ps. 119:11 - I used to think, up until a couple wks. ago, that this verse referred to just knowing right 'n wrong according to God; but it doesn't; it refers to David knowing the O.T. law - by heart - without looking at. I know this because - I have been told of a couple of pastors that know every word of the WHOLE Bible by heart that are living today. I know there are more than that.

This is a little off the 'beaten path', but I had to share it; tonight at church a woman asked me who my favorite author was. I said, "God". She said "no, secular books. I said I only read the Bible and books about it. I USED to read secular, but no more. They are SO-O-O boring!! Ps.119:167

I love the Word

It's a wonderful piece (just as all God's word is) I learned that there are only 4 verses that are not speaking directly to The Lord. They are verses 1 -3, and verse 115. All others are a prayer to The Lord. Also it is an acrostic of the Hebrew alphabet. There are 22 letters in the alphabet and there are 8 verses for each Hebrew alphabet which equals 176. Just a few things I've learned about it!

This verse of the day has given just another big hope to trust in God in Jesus name.God was for the old Abraham,Isaac,Jacob,Moses,David and others.He is the same God who promised thought the prophets that he will bring his own tosave the world.He is here now and i thank Him for the promises found in His word for He stands with the promise and fulfills.....Amen

To Randall, Ps. 119:9 - that was just beautiful .............

This is the sweetest words for the day that God have spoken to me. Thank you Lord for helping me in understanding your words thy words are pure and righteous without drinking the living water your word i won't be save. Thank you Jesus bcoz of your blood we can continue living in abundant life. I will praise you Jesus ahd your statues forever amen

Though senior in years, much so a child in Christ. I yearn for more of his indwelling spirit, as I work to build my faith, going forward in the Word.

It is my desire that the word of God become sweeter and sweeter as the days go by. The word of God is very precious to me .I am very Grateful that I have a copy of God's Holy Word. His word is my life giving force !!!

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The word of God is sweet like honey and should stick to us just like honey. The Lord asked a question how sweet is thy words.... are your words suitable or pleasing in His sight? Only you can speak for yourself, but Jesus word speaks to us all as we strive to spread His word so that we and share His unfailing love.

i love this Psalm 119v9 God created us in HIS IMAGE as a man i have the Lord Jesus in my life so if every boy/girl born into this world finds Christ Jesus at a young age he will become the man/woman God created him/her to be.

What I think of Psalms 119 , reading it in my Heart all day resting on it all night I know all is well in Jesus Name!

your word i have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. This verse is very much encouraging, please lets pray each and everyon, also rem' me in prays because am in danger please.

Not only as a hearer but the word must be securely without doubt or hesitation be hid in our heart. These passages of scripture have aided me through some tough situation in my life. No matter what we have to face the Word of God is a very present help in times of trouble. I bless His Holy Name for being my friend. So glad for JESUS.

It is very important to meditate the word of God day and night all the desire of thine heart will be added unto you. Jesus himself is the word of God and his words will give us life in abundance. Psalms is a powerful words of God and it gives us a reminder to STAND STILL AND KNOW THAT THERE IS GOD WHO CAN SAVE US AND LOVE US No matter what we are facing He loves us. Thank u Jesus

without the word of God in my heart i would not be where i am today it is the word that has preserve my thought and shape my speech. It is His Peace that gives me hopeful " The Hope of Life". Holy spirit I pray that you help me to remember the Lord Holy word in times of need, to fight against sin, and to strengthen my faith in God and give me hope in Jesus name I pray. Amen

Interesting...long, a lot is being said. It takes time to digest...though through reading Psalm 119,120

I love this psalm because it 'drills' the word of God into your head and the TRUTH of it. We need his word to be drilled, ingrained into us as Christians - to have our weapons against satan.

The word of GOD is the light therefore I and all those read and trust and act according to the word we'll enjoy HIS light

God is light so his word if we follow his word we wil walk in truth god with the help of his holyspirit will give us a direction to us direction to walk in his paths he will be empire of our life
