I need all my prayer warriors to keep me lifted in prayer why I fight this spiritual battle against Satan.
  • SPIRITUAL WARFARE against INVISIBLE ENEMIES
Read Mark 4 and Luke 4. If you're going into spiritual battle with Satan you will need to find a scripture or confront against what he's doing to you.

IT IS WRITTEN: you shall not tempt the Lord your God!

IT IS WRITTEN: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

IT IS WRITTEN: I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus!

    Find your scriptures.

If you're fighting demons, call their names; the Holy Spirit will reveal their fruit.

    Like deaf and blind spirit

    Familiar spirit (follows families curses)

    Spirit of Heaviness (Depression)

    Hindering, Harassing, Fear + Torments

That is part of your Armor of God.

    Ephesians 6

    Scriptures are your arrows.

Come back & tell your testimony after.
  • Onyekachukwu Ogechi Levinus Alaka for verse 1
O give thanks unto the LORD. The grateful hero feels that he cannot himself alone sufficiently express his thankfulness, and therefore he calls in the aid of others. Grateful hearts are greedy of men's tongues, and would monopolize them all for God's glory. The whole nation was concerned in David's triumphant accession, and therefore it was right that they should unite in his adoring song of praise. The thanks were to be rendered unto Jehovah alone, and not to the patience or valour of the hero himself. It is always well to trace our mercies to him who bestows them, and if we cannot give him anything else, let us at any rate give him our thanks. We must not stop short at the second agent, but rise at once to the first cause, and render all our praises unto the Lord himself. Have we been of a forgetful or murmuring spirit? Let us hear the lively language of the text, and allow it to speak to our hearts: "Cease your complaining, cease from all self glorification, and give thanks unto the Lord."

For he is good. This is reason enough for giving him thanks; goodness is his essence and nature, and therefore he is always to be praised whether we are receiving anything from him or not. Those who only praise God because he does them good should rise to a higher note and give thanks to him because he is good. In the truest sense he alone is good, "There is none good but one, that is God"; therefore in all gratitude the Lord should have the royal portion. If others seem to be good, he is good. If others are good in a measure, he is good beyond measure. When others behave badly to us, it should only stir us up the more heartily to give thanks unto the Lord because he is good; and when we ourselves are conscious that we are far from being good, we should only the more reverently bless him that "he is good." We must never tolerate an instant's unbelief as to the goodness of the Lord; whatever else may be questionable, this is absolutely certain, that Jehovah is good.

The promises of the Lord are Yes and Amen indeed. I see Him perform His Word in my life;promoting me when my enemies thought it was over.

Indeed, the stone that the builder's rejected has since become the heard of the corner. This, only the Lord can do and it is really AMAZING!!!

The Lord, be Glorified forever and ever, Amen!!!

I love this psalm, do not put your trust in man, I will always put my trust in god because he will never let me down as man would, no matter the circumstances he has never failed me yet, he does not judge me or makes me feel bad, god loves us no matter what we just have to repent of our sin
  • Sally
Being thankful to God for his goodness and mercy. All good things come from God. Ungratefulness is of this world. Sin and sickness is of this world. Being rich in good works that's the richness that's worth having cause it's from God. A good heart is from God so we should give him thanks. When we're ungrateful we lose the things we didn't appreciate. Our heart can become deceived.

Psalms 118 verse 8 is said to be the centre of the "Holy Bible". Its the most powerful verse in where "God is the Centre of our Lives", It was God who made Adam and gave him the Breath of Life, That was given to the man in a state of holiness. He had everlasting life at the time of that giving, Which tells us that when he ate the fruit of desire this man brought death on himself. So Trust God.

I read somewhere that Psalms 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. So true. Yet we all tend to put our trust in men at times. Something we need to fight against. For example, we may trust our doctors but ultimately healing comes from God. We may trust our pastors, but need to check what they say with the word of God.

  • BRENDA L TABON
I have a testimony in Psalms 118 vs 12 - 19. I was stricken with an illness in 1999 that almost took me to my grave. In Bible study one night at church this is the scripture I was given to read, and I just started crying because I saw my entire illness in those scripts. Needless to say those words became one of many testimonies for me. This Feb. 6 will be 20 years the Lord has kept me here.
  • Pauline Arboleda
I love Psalms 118! If we are to follow the Lord, we must go through. It's the joy of knowing that our heavenly Father has set the path for us, and He promised that he'd never leave us alone. I will put all my trust in God, and no confidence in man. Thank you Lord for your mercy, and grace and your KINGDOMSHIP.

Did you know? This verse is found at the very center of the Bible. Literally, it is the one central verse in God s word to us! Psalms 118:8. Not coincidental.
