Verses 6 and 7 show how Jehovah God humbles himself to deal with us lowly humans. If the Sovereign of the universe humbles himself then we definitely want to humble ourselves and keep the right view of ourselves.

14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

*18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Revelation 22:10-15 "And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be unfilthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."

Goliath intimidated the entire Army of Israel but one little boy took action and by faith and the help of the lord, defeated the giant singlehandedly. Never let satan intimidate you no matter how big he looks. Never forget who you are and who you belong to. Never be afraid to take action. Faith without works is dead. Be a David

I was a barren women, unable to have children. But, through God, I am the joyful mother of three children. God allowed me to adopt my children. What a blessing! Now I have 10 grandchildren! God is worthy of our praise!

Praising the Lord should come naturally because he's the reason you got that job,or gotten better from that sickness, and give you a reason to live again for him. God simply want everything that he created too praise yea the Lord. Don't let the rocks cry out for you. Praise the Lord yourself. The Lord is worthy to be Praised. Praise him morning, noon and night. Praise yea the lord. Amen. In reference to psalms 113

Psalms 113:3 "From the rising of the Sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be Praise". The Lord demands Praise. His name should be Praised from east to west, all day long, no matter where we are. If you find yourselve in a place where you cannot Praise the Lord, may be you do not belong there. "Believe that greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the World".

When we speak of the things of the Lord, we are praising Him. When we try to comfort others and show them from the Scriptures the answers to their troubles and sorrows we are praising the Lord. When we walk in truth in sincerity and a good conscience, and fight the good fight of faith, AND NOT SIN, we are praising the Lord and glorifying our Father in heaven for all men to see. PRAISE YE THE LORD!
  • A disciple on Psalms 113 - 6 years ago
How are we to PRAISE THE LORD? Throughout the Bible, whenever the Anointed Writers called for Praise and Worship; there is the accompanying recital of God's Wonderful Works Toward The Children Of Men! All His works shall praise Him! A man makes his own praise by his character and deeds of selfless benevolence; HOW MUCH MORE GOD! Who is more benevolent, more kind and gentle and long-suffering? AMEN
  • Anonymous on Psalms 113 - 6 years ago
Psalms 113:3 reminds me that God is to be praised everyday of our lives, no matter what the time, no matter where we are, or what we're going through. It reminds me that we shouldn't forget about God and how great he is he's to be praised at all times.

  • Matthew Sovine on Psalms 113 - 7 years ago
This chapter of Psalms I believe is a perfect representation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It perfectly describes Jesus Christ in the Sermon on the Mount. Christ is the perfect representation of Grace in choosing to make the lowly set in high places. It is those who are broken, those to whom Christ Jesus is everything He makes exalted. Grace, Grace, Grace! Its all over this chapter. Hallelujah!
