Psalms 103:12 is a very consistent scripture that God can and will forgive our sins and not judge us like other people will. God will not bring them up before us ever again. Forgiveness is not bring or dwelling on them for a life time
  • Nel on Psalms 103 - 6 years ago
V14 got to me that he does forgive us our sins and pities us. Also good chapter for me since i have terminal cancer. The praise elements are strong and help me express my devotion to Him.

  • Shirley on Psalms 103 - 7 years ago
Psalms 103 explains the love of God for his people. We as people of God should demonstrate that same love by fearing God,His mercy toward them that fear him,for the heaven is high above earth.Who knows the measurement between heaven and earth? If we repent of our sins,God removes our transgressions as far as the east is from the west. Now who can measure the east from the west? God mercy is forever.

As verse 10 shows, God is so merciful that He has not even dealt with us according to what we deserve for our sins.
  • Francis Nwaneri on Psalms 103 - 7 years ago
Palm 103 is one of my favorite, it encompasses the everlasting undeserved Love of our God. Ot also pulls together all the other psalms. I try to read it everyday. It reminds us of the human limitations, our need to rely totally on him who is able and always ready to help us no matter the situation. I Love the Lord.

I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. For the LORD is our defence and the Holy One of Israel is our king. O sing unto the LORD a new song for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Believe what the word says, not what people say!
  • Tammy on Psalms 103 - 7 years ago
Read the bible and let God lead and guide you to the truth because when push comes to shove it does not matter what man thinks you will stand before God alone on judgement day and what God shows you today will be your defense. Man is not perfect only God is and His Word. Seek and you shall find.

Have you seen the Cross in Psalm 103? Read verses 11 and 12. As high as the heavens are above the earth... so great is His mercy... (That's the up and down spar.) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our sin. (That's the side to side spar.) The finished work of the cross was a hidden mystery in the OT. Today - in this age of Grace - it's an open secret we need to share.
