My sunday school teacher told the class read this this psalms and memorize it.the more I read it the more it.bless me each and every day and night my relationship with Him has grown
I particularly like this verse "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." Isn't that great? I love the word "meditate" day and night because it is relaxing. I just looked in the dictionary.
Rest, Relaxing and Meditation are healthy mechanisms of improving the mind and or the neurons, as it is all the same thing, my current study. (maybe a pun?)
The hidden power of God's word comes alive in every area of our lives when we eat it daily and write upon the tablet of our heart. Most importantly, living to the true measure of the word yields through transformation of mind and spirit. Therefore anchoring us so deep in Christ, we remain unscale by surface movement and produce superior fruits that impact others.
We are not living in God's law now since Jesus have come by his blood that shed for us we are now redeemed and pardoned we are now saved by God's grace for GOD'S GRACE ARE SUFFICIENT ENOUGH. Jesus made everything new are job now is to believe Jesus and live like Jesus obey his words and meditate his words day and night. Praise abd thanks to the blood of Jesus and worship him alone . Amen
God is a forgiving God. If the ungodly will repent of their sins God will accept them as righteous by Christ. It is our responsiblility (the righteous) to spread the gospel to everyone. GOD doesn't want anyone to perish. What an awesome GOD we serve.

I'm so glad that my lord and savior sees us who don't care to follow the evil. Who can care less if they befriend us. Who love to follow goodness. Makes me feel good to know he watches over us. Comforting to know his hand is with us.
Ps 1 describes Christian man. Rev 14:12 and 12:17: the Saints have the testimony of Christ and keep (guard) the commandments of God. Love for God is found in obedience to commands 1-4. Love for neighbor is commands 5-10. The case laws are examples of the 10, which are all summarized in the two. Saved by grace. Ethics by law. Sin is breaking the Law of God ( 1Jn 3-4). Opposite of Law is lawlessness.

Being a Christian means to be in a relationship with Christ. It is a whole lifestyle. Just like any earthly relationship, we must spend quality time with God in prayer, meditation and reading His word in order to stand strong, unmoved by any circumstances. We are human beings with weaknesses but with Christ in us we have extraordinary strength. Only he can guide us in all things.
Psalm 1 refers to two groups of people and each one of us is in one group or the other. God is life and His word is spirit and life; when you come near Him every dry condition in and about you springs into life and you flourish. This is the life of the people who find delight in the Lord and in His word. The other group of people who mock, their ways become sinful and they are far away from God.
I think psalm 1 is telling us we are blessed who lives in the Lord and do the will of the Lord. Those who are of the Lord shall prosper, he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. A man who loves the Lord loves the word of the Lord and meditate upon it day and night. He shall have eternal life. The man who do not love the Lord and His words shall wither and vanish away.
to my young christian friend you will find your friends will be effected as you grow God will take care of them its sort of like boxing you stick and move and let the Lord lead move you ask for the fear of God to help when making any step of faith ,because we all have to" work out our own salvation with fear and trembling "you cant do everything for your friends Holy Spirit will take care of it
Reading these verses tells us how we are living now, although we don't realize it we are, if, if we want to change, we only have to admit that we need God in our life, that with him we will change, without him we stay in the same life we had, the reason we searched this passage, is because we know God wants us to have better ,live better love better, by simply making a choice. No matter what.

I have a lot of friends I try to witness to about Jesus, but some take it in as they have never been around friends that have found Christ only problem is I am just finding my way out of this hole of sin I have been lost in. The word of GOD is given to us for instructions on how to live each day and what pleases Him. Yes it is our choice whether we do it or not. He won't make us and He wants our love for Him to be so strong that we will have delight in His laws.
It pays to do good and live right in the way of the Lord. Living for the moment is living in sin, don't concern your self for the right now . Keep your eyes on JESUS, and in your due season you will weep your reward, Iin Christ.
It does tell us what to do, the 10 commandments. The fruits of the spirit, Love, joy, peace, faith, kindness, forgiveness, longsuffering, temperance, meekness.

the Word doesnt tell us what to do. It only tells us we will prosper and be blessed. God leaves what we do as our choice. Because God prospers us we take that as a sign we are doing right, when we are not. 'Lord did we not prophesy in your name ? And do many miracles ? 'Get away from me I never knew you !'.
