P.S. - my mainline church I was raised in - died several years ago. All the older generation that attended died and couldn't be supported because the younger gens. moved to larger cities - for the money and or fame. When there is no freedom of His spirit ................

    V. 9 - I have to 'smile', or laugh, when I read this verse. I was raised in a 'pharisee' church, a mainline church. All strict protocol; no emotion, but then emotion was strictly 'boxed up' - tightly. Now, I'm in a TRUE church of Jesus Christ - salvation by Acts 2:38 and shouting praise, clapping hands, running the aisles in the spirit and beautiful songs, worship.

Luke 12:4-5 (Jesus warns) "I will tell you whom you should fear, fear him, after he has killed, has power to cast into hell." Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! If you do not fear him with terror and trembling as Job did, you do not know him. Do not take away from his word.
Read the end of Job, the chapters that tells us how God responded to Job. David feared him!
