A mandatory requirement for claiming psalm 91 is to abide under the shadow of Almighty and make him our habitation.when we abide in him we are holy and we are protected, from my experience even a small slip up could put us in danger,May God grant me Grace and all those who claim psalm 91 to be under the shadow of the Almighty all the time.

So how is " No evil shall befall you " to be interpreted......when evil befalls us all the time?
  • Gordon - in Reply on Psalms 91:10
I have come to see as I grow older God has shown me protection. I could not see it until later in life. But like God says. All are called but few are chosen to see. We must be fully alert as Satan is allowed to manipulate are surrounding every day. Then we are supposed to learn to see the snare. Then say oh Yahweh how you have protected me over a million times and I just now saw it.. we are learning everything is about learning. He knows us and unfortunately we live in sin.
All we can do is stay rock steady as the world burns around the chosen ones.

This is a very great promise, and I know scripture does not contradict scripture. However, we also are told we will have tribulation. And quite horrible things happen to believers and nonbelievers alike. How can this "no evil will befall you ", be interpreted?
  • Genevieve on Psalms 91:10
I believe it means: God will keep His Word and as we focus on the Words of God and personalize it according to what we are experiencing, it will manifest in our lives...In Jesus ' Name...Amen!
