Discussion for Psalms 62

  • A disciple
"Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved." Waiting upon God implies being prepared and ready in a condition worthy of Him who is about to come. People prepare themselves for important meetings and interviews and do all they know how to be ready to present themselves best. How much more should we!

"My soul, wait thou only upon God for my expectation is from him." Psalms 62:5 "And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?" 1 Samuel 26:1 By God's grace we are kept from sinning, and our feet walking straight and even through this world, according to our integrity that is in us. So what then must be said about all those who have no qualms with sinning and following the crowds to evil and of ourselves as well when we went astray? The days are turning into a fiery oven to try our souls, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. Now comes the time when we will be put to the test concerning our love and faithfulness toward the Lord Jesus, and our reflecting His love and grace toward those who betray us and do us wrong. "Watch, Stay Awake! and Pray that you may be able to escape these things that are coming on the earth, and to stand before the Son of man."

The unsaved constantly rail against God and His son Jesus, even today. They can not discern the word of God or the fact that Jesus died for their sins because they can not discern the things of the spirit of God. David is telling the sinner (unbeliever) to give your life to the living God in Heaven unto Salvation. Mercy, power, and Glory belongs to the living God forever and ever, Amen.

WE CAN NOT HIDE FROM GOD HE SEE EVERY WE DO WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR EVIL.
WE CAN NOT GO OVER HIM, UNDER HIM, OR AROUND HIM, WE JUST NEED TO OBEY HIM.
PRAY AND WAIT FOR THE ANSWER EVEN IF THE ANSWER DOESN'T COME WAIT AND ONLY DO WHAT HIS WORD SAY TO DO. GOD IS TRUE WHAT HE SAY HE WILL DO WE JUST NEED TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH HIS WORD. GOD IS MY HELP IN EVERYTHING I DO. HE IS MY ROCK AND MY STRENGTH.
