It is an assured psalm and it give you hope and takes away your fear because God makes it so clear that he will take care of us no matter what situation we are encountering

"The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles." David wrote this Psalm by inspiration of God when he was driven out by the king of the Philistines for acting like a mad man. David had fled to the Philistines' town because king Saul was seeking to kill him. He had hoped he could just blend in and be left alone among strangers but they quickly recognized him as Israel's Mighty Prince, and thought to "offer him up" to their gods. Most of us wonder about how it came to David's mind to put on the show like he had lost his marbles but the LORD used it to deliver him in a very simple yet humorous way truly showing David that our fears and troubles and real dangers are nothing for God, and how easy it is for Him to turn men and circumstances in favor of His Saints.
