Discussion for Psalms 119:118

  • First and foremost, God's word is a benefit to man as it give direction, warning and comfort to name a few. Man sets himself up for failure when he disregards God's instruction. This verse reminds me of Romans Chapter 1: 24, 26, 28 where we read God gave them up to their own desires, which led to their destruction. One day these will face an angry God who will judge the wicked and pour out His wrath on them which is far worse than the self destruction they are enduring now.
