CHAP. CXXXVIII.

1 Dauid praiseth God for the truth of his word. 4 He prophecieth that the kings of the earth shall praise God. 7 He professeth his confidence in God.

¹[A Psalme of Dauid.] I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise vnto thee.¹

²I will worship towards thy holy temple, and praise thy name, for thy louing kindnesse and for thy trueth: for thou hast magnified thy word aboue all thy name.

³In the day when I cried, thou answeredst me: and strengthenedst me with strength in my soule.
