Note that 6:34-35 is referring to "a man" which would be too presumptions to indicate that it is referring to a jealous husband of a harlot!?, wherein many commentaries seem to suggest. For, why would such a jealous (good) husband be so enraged over a harlot, supposedly his wife!?. Nay. However, in view of the subject mater proceeding these two verses and, as it were comparing scripture with scripture, it seems much more likely that 6:34-35 is pointing to "a man" that (evil) prince that shall come in Daniel 9:26-27.

    Proverbs 6

God hate's those 6 things, but finds the 7th, he who sows discord among brethren, (morally) disgusting, a detestable act, an abOMiNation

Discord:Tension or strife resulting from a lack of agreement; dissension.

Lack of agreement among persons, groups, or things. synonym: conflict.

Look up (strife) in scripture, it's the work of evil.

I need Jesus every second, of every minute, of every hour each new day. For sin in me wants what is not of God the Father. Without Jesus beside me, then what matters in this sinful world. Let not the hours be wasted on self, let His commandments guide and protect us and all who follow the Ways of Christ our Kingsman Redeemer. Jesus must be our all in all forevermore.

    Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed thee in the belly I KNEW YOU: and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

    Jeremiah 20:17

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave,

    Hosea 12:3

For there are some eunuchs, which I were so born from their mother's womb (birth defects) and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men (forced celibacy) and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs (celibate)for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

    Psalms 139:16

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in THY BOOK all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

    Genesis 27:2

And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

    Psalms 48:14

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Comment: God lives outside and inside of the confines of time. He sees each human from beginning to end.

He says, "ALL souls belong to Me." If a baby dies, it's soul immediately returns to God. And lives eternally. No one teaches the Bible in Public Schools. Neither is forgiveness of sins. I'm ashamed of what they HAVE to teach. It's a soul-less education. Kids can choose anything EXCEPT to follow the teachings of the Bible. Their consciences are being burned alive. They're one source of hope was written out of their books. Did anyone at home read the Bible to them?

JESUS IS COMING BACK SOONER THAN YOU THINK. He's not going to allow these children to perish in darkness of social Night. All they have to say is: JESUS TAKE ME WITH YOU, INTO YOUR KINGDOM. Kids: tell your little brothers and sisters too.

Genesis 1-3 was a history of the earth. Jehovah told Moses to write this down.

    (Example/ Exodus 24:12,13)

    Regarding Proverbs 6:

King Solomon took foreign wives he shouldn't have taken ( 1Ki. 11:1-8). in this

scripture; it proves he learned his lesson. Solomon was born to build

a temple For God for his people to worship in, so his lessons on not being lazy and

looking to ants for example was definitely what he must have observed.

proverbs 6 gives us a little glimpse into his time. How he felt being a King and ruling over people.

and building a temple for Jehovah ( Psalm 83:18) BUT the lessons can apply when applicable.

Romans. 15:4 For whatsoever (Whatever) things were written aforetime were

written for our learning, that we through patience

and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    I hope this helps. Thanks

    1 Thessalonians 5

"Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation."

    Mishael,

    Great information.

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is a great website.

    Good job POTUS.

Went to website, couldn't find petition for abortion, but did sign petition for Supreme Court Justice nominee Barrett.

    Thanks.
  • Mishael on Proverbs 6:19 - 3 years ago
Babies born alive after attempted abortions have been left to die. It's sickening and must be stopped.

We've seen laws considered or passed in New York and Virginia that could allow infanticide. Congress has refused to require lifesaving protection be provided to babies who have actually been born.

But the President recently signed an Executive order in an effort to change all of this. It's a massive step in the right direction for life. As President Trump said, he was "signing the born alive Executive order to assure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve. This is our sacrosanct moral duty."

It is absolutely our moral duty, and something for which we at the ACLJ have been aggressively fighting for years.

Every baby deserves a chance at life. Every baby deserves medical care and legal protections. But the abortion lobby is doing everything it can to block these protections.

We're fighting to protect babies - born and unborn. But we need you to take action with us.

    ACLJ to sign the Petition

We understand the the apostle Peter died by martyrdom during Emperor's Nero's reign & persecution of Christians. This was approx 67 or 68 AD. His death was also confirmation to what Jesus had told him in John 21:18, 19:

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me." And, 2 Peter 1:14, where Peter himself spoke of his upcoming death: "Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me."

We are not told how Peter died, though tradition says that he was crucified like His Saviour, but elected to be hung upside down so as not to resemble Jesus' crucifixion. An early Church father & theologian, Origen, said: "Peter felt himself to be unworthy to be put to death in the same manner as his Master". However, there is no certainty on the manner of his death. And the place of his martyrdom is also said to be in Rome, where the apostle Paul was also martyred by beheading.

God Bless you brother. I always enjoy reading your posts. Stay strong in the Lord!
  • Chris - In Reply on Proverbs 6:19 - 3 years ago
Thank you Richard for that important word to encourage us. Indeed, the spiritual battle will go on & on & continue to rage, as those who are the children of Light & Truth continue to wage was against the enemy of our souls. And I've learnt that even by reason of age, the battle does not become any less severe or relentless. And we are not on our own in this warfare, for "greater is he that is in (us), than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4.
  • Richard in Christ on Proverbs 6:19 - 3 years ago
We are in a battle till our last breadth. A spiritual battle that we need the armor of God. Receiving the Holy Ghost and being in Christ. Resisting lusts of the flesh and foul recesses of the heart that defile us such as: evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness, anger, wrath, malice, lewdness, filthy communication out of your mouth, uncleanness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, lie not one to another, etc.

Be ready to be hated by the world and looked upon as fools. Those who are lead to the Truth are the minority in this world. Continually being persecuted and tortured.

"If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

"As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

"He said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it."

Only God truly knows evrything in our hearts. He sees what no other man sees, knows what no one else knows. Don't be afraid if you are still battling with sin as we all are. Show God how much you love Him by striving to follow Jesus Christ and repent from sin. Some of us will have fights harder than others will. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

God Bless us everyone! Love one another as He loves us!

    2 John v 9 ,10 ,11

It is very deadly wrong to defend sinning in any way .
  • Richard in Christ on Proverbs 6:19 - 3 years ago
    Hello my brothers and sisters,

"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use and persecute you."

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."

"For with the same measure that ye mete with it shall be measured to you again."

"Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Praise the Lord! "In all thy ways acknowledge Him." God Bless!

  • Brant on Proverbs 6:19 - 3 years ago
The verse you listed but from many different bibles and beliefs did not all have the word "That" in it. This verse, in all the bibles listed quite simply says. " Dont tell lies to your brothers in order to cause fighting among them." We all know by the time we are in grade school that lying and gossiping is not a good thing. It spreads hate. And hate brings violence like bullying which we discourage greatly in our schools and always feel bad for the person being bullied as well as grateful if it is not our kids that are targeted by bullies. This includes cyber bullying.Which is deliberately trying to hurt someone by telling lies, spreading gossip, name calling etc.

and doing it with an audience which makes it a million times worse. Theres NEVER ANY GOOD REASON FOR ANYONE TO SPREAD LIES TO CAUSE HATE ANGER, VIOLENCE & BULLYING ." That's what God is saying. Being a Christian who ACTUALLY tries to always follow the rules of God & the bible I like to think about how Jesus would handle it. Could you see Jesus sitting on a laptop on social media typing out to the entire world lies or calling people names, delibertly bullying others. Do you see Jesus cheering anyone on that would do such a thing. I think not. Jesus had a crown of thorns pushed down upon his skull and nails hammered into his hands and feet & hung on a cross in the sweltering heat as people below called him names and heckled him. Can you imagine the incredable amount of physical as well as emotional pain he must have felt? Did jesus swear back at them? Did he call them names? True Christian's living a true existence according to Gods law should remember this next time they think it's ok to send discord about anyone even politicians through their face book messenger. Someday you will be judged. Not by Trump, but by our Powerful God who made each & every one of us in the entire universe. God Bless America and God Bless our World.

I am glad I have a God that is faithful and just. We are all broken and trying to do our best to be like Christ so often we try to do it on our own. I am thankful that the Bible reminds me that if we repent and ask God's forgiveness, He is there ready to forgive us. "Ask and it shall given unto you". Amen.

Wow. There is a lot of Life between your lines. As a Christian for the purpose of the Gospel I have only spent a few weeks here and there. Mostly have raised a family. My youngest is 14 and oldest is 19, everyone still lives at home which is great in my mind and heart. I have always made a living somehow related to food, whether in transportation, sales or these days, food manufacturing.

    Thank you!

New Hampshire, twice. Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Maryland, Alabama, Wash. DC. When they were burning it down in '69. Drove all over when I was younger. My last 2 siblings, one is moving to Washington State and the other to Wyoming.

It's hard to think of not seeing them again. My grandson is here, that's all I can explain.

My 20-30's I was a draftsman and surveyor for the phone company. Seems like a whole other person to me now. I only know God had a purpose for my life. Everyone does.

    Hi Rosie, Proverb 6:1

Surety for a friend is like co-signing on the car. Putting your own credit on the line for someone else. If you feel uneasy in your Spirit, please pray about it.

I have bought a used car from out of state, having seen only pictures and the written description by the dealership. Does this verse apply in that I should undo the purchase now in the first few days and not let it stand, perhaps only to find the car a bad purchase, and faulty.
