There was a man called George Muller of Bristol , England

    Back in the eighteen hundreds.

I have read of many famous Christian or said to be Christians . And GM impressed me the most by his testimony and Godly living . I highly recommend anyone looking into his life , much of it is available on line . God answered all his prayers large and small , he was a man of the Bible , he went to seminary and could speak 5 or more languages.

He stated that he could learn more reading the Bible being led by the Holy Spirit in a few hrs than a month in seminary .

A must read for any serious student , he shares his methods of prayer and reading the Bible , priceless knowledge, you will learn something, he was a Bible man . My kind of person !

    Let us pray

Lord Jesus Christ we ask that you help everyone who is suicidal.

Guide them so they may receive the help that they need.

    Protect them.

Prevent them from dying by suicide.

We need them. We love them.

Let them feel our love, and your love, Lord Jesus.

Lord, we ask that you comfort the suicide survivors.

Remind them that they are very special people.

Remind them that they are loved.

Fill their minds with beautiful memories of their angels.

Provide them with everything that they need Lord.

    Ease their pain.

    Give them hope.

    Give them comfort.

    Give them guidance.

    Help them heal.

And help them in every way possible.

Let them feel our love, and your love, Lord Jesus.

And let their angels carry them on their wings when they are weary.

Lord, we pray for the angels to minister life to the heirs of salvation.

They are with you now, Lord, in Paradise.

These angels are among the highest angels in Heaven.

Their wings are magnificent and their beauty is beyond imagination.

    Their love shines bright.

Embrace this child, Lord Jesus, with your love.

And let their love continue to shine down upon us.

We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.

If dogs don't go to Heaven then why did Jesus say the lion will lay by the lamb? They're animals also. God loves all of us and wants us to do His will and not be foolish or slothful. Praise Jesus!!
  • Practice makes perfect on Proverbs 26 - 3 years ago
Proverbs teaching is regarding behavior, what we should and should not be doing. All of this takes practice. Once you come into the Knowledge of things, then we're held responsible for our actions. Eventually these teachings will be a part of who we are, and we will find it difficult not to comply. After practicing these teachings, it eventually becomes a part of who we are, and we will no longer want to do things out of God's will, and will begin to understand more and more what these teachings are about, Thank You Jesus for saving me....

The fool described above either knowing or not knowing nevertheless is entrapped by foolishness, a powerful addictive destructive tool used to kill steal and destroy others and the fool themselves in the end. The slothful or slugger is a just as addictive and destructive. Note... one day a Rattle Snake crawl behind me while repairing a plow. It was my chose to move away from it or play with it.

One thing says the market owner but another says the butcher. God says one thing but we interpret another. Please do not compare a human being to a dog. We are to live for ever in Jesus dogs live and then die to never come back to life.
  • BSP on Proverbs 26 - 7 years ago
A dog going back to its vomit is something disgusting and we can't imagine how they could even do that. Fools returning to their stupidity are likened to these dogs.
  • James walker on Proverbs 26 - 7 years ago

Near as I can tell, the word "fool" refers to the non-elect, the haters of God, all those dead in sin and trespasses, just as the word "remnant" makes reference to those chosen ones of God, the elect, the predestined, the saved.
  • Duncan Ang'u on Proverbs 26 - 8 years ago
Please help me understand the context of being a fool. This is one chapter that reveals to us Christians how being a fool is such sin. Thank you.
  • Tara lambert on Proverbs 26:11 - 8 years ago
This verse is so true!! As much as I try too not repeat the same sin over and over again, knowing what the outcome will be. I still return too it. Does anyone else have this problem?? An answer to why I keep doing this?? I love God with all my heart and hate letting him down and i know right from wrong but i still keep doing that stupid sin darn it! So to me this verse is so true about me . It's like God wrote it just to me...

Don't return to your folly after the Lord has delivered you there will be no change
  • Davis on Proverbs 26:4 - 8 years ago
Answer not a fool according to his folly, is exactly what it means. Ecclesiastes 2:13 KJV Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness. A fool who has no understanding will not bridle his tongue and Remember the name of our Savior YASHAYAH in the night. If a wise man answer a fool according to his folly, he too will be like him, forgetting what the Messiah did for us at the Cross and not bridle his tongue and enter into rest. YASHAYAH HA MESSIAH IS COME IN THE FLESH. Selah
