I would like to think the same thing. However we must find ourselves on our knees asking for forgiveness. I am amazed how many times the Muslim religion is on theirs daily!

Be Quick to Listen (A RECEPTIVE HEART)

[Jam 1:19] Everyone Should Be Quick To Listen

Everyone should be quick to listen-hear now and heed-

Slow to speak, also slow to anger in word and deed.

Anger does not yield a life praised by the Lord,

So get rid of all sin and humbly accept God's Word.

If you listen, but do not practice, you'll go astray,

Like a man who looks in a mirror, then goes away.

You must keep looking; God's Word will set you free.

Don't forget what you've heard, but do it, and blessed you'll be.

If you think you're a model Christian, yet speak too free,

If your tongue has no rein, faith's worthless; you've been deceived.

Here's faith the Father accepts as pure and true:

Help the needy, keep from defilement in all you do.

WHAT DO U THINK OF THIS HYMN?

    Hebrews 9:26

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world:

but now once in the end of the world hath appeared to put away sin by sacrifice of himself.

    Hebrew 9:27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.

    Hebrews 9:28

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Good morning all! The best inheritance that one can can leave is a witness of the truth in their children and grandchildren and for some great grand children. When I witnessed my two older children (a year apart in time) transformation from their old walk to a new walk within hours it was like watching a miracle in a day take place. Where there was no peace, there was peace, where they were kicking against the pricks there was quietness. When this experience happens the parents have completed their primary responsibility in the home. The children will then be guided by the Holy Spirit in their season of bringing forth fruit. We as Christians like to think of everyone else instead of our own homes and our own children and our own fleshly fears. Parents should teach children while they can by example in stewardship in economics and preferring those who have authority over them. This is the Kingdom of Christ in earth, it's reign is now, it's blessings are now and full thankfulness is now, love is now, peace is now, hope in eternal life is now, loving our neighbor is now, teaching the Truth is now. God will make a way for his lambs without having to defend themselves by violence and without harsh word and without spiritual lascivious acts with the unbelieving world.

Children are a witness for us or against us in our very practices of what we believe as Christians.

    Proverbs 13:22

    live.

We need to leave our children an inheritance of godliness and wisdom as well as one that we can financially. Without this our children will suffer far worse than if they miss a few luxuries according to the dictates of society. There are those who will have wealth, but may spend eterntiy in abject poverty in hell when they die. This is no inheritance that you want to pass on to your family. If we leave them with wisdom and with knowledge of the Word and of their Savior Jesus Christ - they will be rich for eternity - even if they don't live on the upper east side in this life.

The wicked will leave their wealth to the righteous. This means that although they live wealthy for the few years of this life, they will eventually die and leave all of it to others. Since they have lived for wickedness, their children will most likely waste their wealth and have it transfer to those who use wise principles in how they do business. These are those who are godly and good in their business as well as their daily lives.

There is something that we desperately need to leave to our children and their children. It is a good thing if we can leave them an inheritance that will help them afford a home or other things financially. But more importantly is to leave them with an inheritance in the things of the Lord. This is something that can never be lost. God promised that a godly man can touch thousands over the lives of his children and grandchildren. But to do so we need to be willing to invest, not just in stocks and bonds - but in a godly heritage that will take a lifetime to develop and prepare for our families.

I would understand Proverbs 13:22 as describing the worth of a 'good man'. Of course, he, as a husband & father, has to also demonstrate good, godly attributes to his family & those around him, but he should also be one that considers his family after he passes away. I realize that today it would be hard for many to leave much inheritance to their children, let alone their grand children, but the focus in this verse, is on the man who first gives every consideration to his family - unlike the sinner (opposite to the good man), whose "wealth will be distributed to those better than he."

Do you find yourself getting annoyed or even angry with people quite often? According to this scripture it is because you suffer from pride which was the first iniquity that led to satan's downfall.

Good companions bring much good and wisdom to life. When we choose to associated ourselves with wise Men and Women, we will advance in wisdom. It is taken for granted that the companion of fools is a fool and will remain rooted in their folly. Their choice of companion's proves their folly and shows their destiny destruction.

1 Kings 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? King Solomon humbly requested that the Lord just give him what he stood in need of. Through the divine inspiration of God he applied his knowledge,Love, & Understanding to The book of Proverbs. We all as Heart felt Saved Christians need to collectively humble ourselves & Pray to the Lord asking him for the things we stand in need of. You should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. It is not written Every man, but Every spirit that confessed that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confessed not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come: and even now already is it in the world.

To gain wealth by vanity such as having to much pride in their own appearance, abilities, achievements is like the vanity in the bathroom before God. Real wealth's gotten through exerting one's power of body, mind, soul and spirit with diligent and painstaking effort is the spiritual way. Work or operate according to God's plan or design. Acquire the whole house which is the Kingdom of God. AMEN

Children can only be sound when they are well thought because half knowledge of Bible is dangerous. It is the responsibility of parent to teach children the word in God fearing. Without God fear a child can not heed to father instructions! When children are living a way ward life we begin to ask ourselves what is the cause of these without knowing that some parents have forgotten their role.

Verse 24~Children need sound guidance and discipline. This is an example of a parent's love because they want their child to succeed.

"The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death." With the well advised is wisdom. Wisdom is the action taken out of a good understanding and integrity to the truth. Wisdom uses knowledge in the right way. The LAW of the wise directs his heart with discretion by the fear of God, constrained by the love of Christ. We are set by God like the stars for signs and times.

"A wise son hears his father's instruction: but a scorner hears not rebuke." This goes along with the saying, Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. We ourselves may also have experienced that we said something with good intentions to help with good advice for someone's problem, but got answered by hostile or offended response. We want to hear it as our Father's instruction.

Instead of us playing the lottery, we should work honestly and earn our living by the sweat of our brow. When we got to work on our jobs, the Lord will teach us lessons to help us grow. When we take the easy way out, we bypass growth.

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick, but when the desire cometh it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

Great verse on having dreams, aspirations, goals, and other such things. ACTION! ACTION PRODUCES DESIRE! ACTION PERSUADES THE HEART! I'm shooting for a beautiful and healthy neuroplastic forest. Trees are so cool. Rainbow Eucalyptus, Larch, White Birch, Myrtle are some of my favorites.
