    Amen Gerald!

When God began working on my heart I was lead to this website and it helped me tremendously. Having no real Christian connections it truly allowed me to feel connected to some of "the right people." I received great information, encouragement and a little love when I really needed some! It became a candle in the darkness.

I hope you enjoyed your day today brother and praise God for the breath in our lungs on this day! What a blessing!

Hope to see you back here in the comments Gerald!

God Bless you and your family my friend!

Proverbs 10:31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

the froward tongue speaks against the truth Jesus' truth so therefor it will be cut out on judgement day most likely. Froward mean to be habitually disposed to disobedience or opposition to any kind of truth written in the Bible or against God's comandments.

    Samuel,

Thank you for those good words from our great God and Savior!

I was thinking today about how remarkable Jesus' whole life must have been to those who lived with Him and saw Him live from day to day from infancy on. He NEVER sinned. What did His family and childhood friends think about what they saw him do and say? Did people notice how holy and righteous He was? It must have been so obvious. Maybe that is why people followed Him so readily, knowing that His teachings matched his lifestyle. No hypocrisy, no misplaced emotions, nothing retaliatory or underhanded in all of His interactions, never a coarse of ungodly word, no guile, perfect innocence.

How lovely that must have been to behold as His mother, relatives, and friends.
  • Samuel on Proverbs 10 - 2 years ago
To the person who said God gave a new commandment to love your neighbor. That is NOT A NEW COMMANDMENT.

    OLD TESTAMENT:

"but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord."

    Leviticus 19:18

Jesus came to FULFILL the LAW! NOT DESTROY IT.

Jesus Christ kept every commandment and did not sin once. If Christ is in us we do NOT continually DISOBEY.

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning."

    1 John 2:3-4, 7 KJV

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

    1 John 3:4-8 KJV

who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, ESV

They take pleasure in doing wrong, and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil. NLT

Frowardness is the opposite of towardness. It is acting contrary to God's will.

    GOD HEARETH NOT SINNERS

    Job 37:9; Psalm 18:41; 34:15; 66:18; Pr. 1:28; 15:29; Isaiah 1:15; Jer. 11:11; 14:12; Eze. 8:18: Micah 3:4; Zech. 7:18; JOHN 9:31.

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and not for any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20). If it records in Rev. 12:9 that this whole world has been deceived, it did not speak of a particular country, group of people, person or religion, it meant the whole world.

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15) this whole world has been deceived and what mankind must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting), is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and there seems to be a great misconception what the true 'spiritual' meaning of the word is. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

Only through Repentance will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1) and reveal to you how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and overcome this world ( 1 John 5:4).

The word "Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God

This proverb also points out the significant of working hard and not been a lazy and busybodies minding other's. People business. The scripture says if a man does not work he should not eat. We need the wisdom of God to be fully who his called us to be.

"Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction". Always pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God in every aspect of our lives including and most importantly our words so we won't be like the foolish ones who use their mouth to profess their own ruins and destruction.

I honestly feel like if u have to ask if winking is bad...more than likely it is. The emotion, intention, and spirit behind most of what we do is most important than the actually behavior sometimes...my mom dressed me and my twin up for church growing up and ladys in the church winked at us all the time cuz we were so cute...that's a good wink...winking for attention attraction is not. God bless

Chapter 10 of Proverbs is a very interesting chapter dealing with righteousness and wisdom. Sometimes we speak and it can be right, but wisdom will train us that timing is everything. You can speak out of turn and be just as wrong. Turning righteousness into folly.I think the book of James ch.3 is a great fit for this chapter.

I came to understand through proverb 10:22 that the blessings of the Lord does not have limit, it last forever, everlasting peace, thy will has been done in your life as it is in heaven, no lack of daily food. No more hunger and dryness, no more violence and pains in your dwelling. So this Jesus Christ has come to give us life and not just life but to give it to us in abundance. Faith and His Face
