to obey z beta than sacrifice.God wants our obedienc more than our sacrifices.if only the human kind could allow the love of God to be poured upon every soul our livity would be on line with what He wants from us .for to fear God is the beggining of wisdom.
Well I understand that a man without wisdom is just like an evil man meaning he can turn easy into doing evil but that that has wisdom.and the fear of God will reconsider his steps and only God give wisdom
This chapter teaches me that Wisdom is the spirit of God, and that if we fear him:(MEANING RESPECT & OBEY HIM) that we will partake in his spirit, and be wise as he is; But if we disobey; then we'll be without him, and he even starts to speak in this chapter, to go on and say that those who are disobedient will come to a moment of destruction, and then they will remember me, and call out to me and I will not hear them, in fact I will laugh at there attempt to reach out to me, and even go as far as make fun of them right the mist of there trail and tribulations....... This is a chapter that should remind us just how dangerous willful sin is, and how necessary it is for us to repent and turn from our disobedient ways.
My comment on the above chapter,,is a testomany of being obedient to the word of God,,,,,yet we know the history of Soloman the second wiseth man in the bible,,,700 wifes amongs other things!!!!!Would one call that wisdom?
The Lord is willing to teach us right from wrong. Fools do not want to learn anything, they just want to remain as they are, ignorant of the teachings of Christ and continue doing what they are involved in and if one of us try to talk to people about what is right they refuse to listen.
When you fear God obey him you will prosper in anything you do because the bible make us understand that the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom, not just wisdom but the wisdom to do the right thing just like king solomon does
Trust upon God,wait upon him, fear him alone, call unto him and he will hearken to your call and meet you at the point of your need and will never fail you.
This is in response to Lynda's Proverbs Chapter 1 comment about verse 7 on 9/08/2013, 10:16am: We cannot know what to do and what not to do, if we have never read, heard or been thought about the scriptures. Because the purpose why we need to read the scriptures is written in 2 Timothy 3:1 which says that, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
The "fear" (acknowledgement of the authority & power) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (learning obedience to His Word). His Word is God (Jesus Christ- John 1:1-14)Himself ! How can you know what to do & what not to do, if you have never read, heard or been taught? The BIBLE (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth)is to let us know the character & love of God toward us. It gives us Commandments & Precepts on "How to Live" so we will not have a sorrowful life. It lets us know we can call on God for the answers we have yet to learn out of the 66 inspired, infallible Word of God.
Thy lot is your experience and view of Gods grace.listen to others experience, share yours. Together we recieve a greater view of a love that is much larger than any one person can comprehend."Gods love" One purse means one God.one love the only infinite love.
The only valuable wealth,is an understanding of Gods word.as we act upon that understanding our house will be filled with the grace of God.the precious substance is Gods love!
Good times and bad times.
