Concerning this Sabbath: shall the woman, the fatherless and the widow be condemned for their work if GOD giveth their sleep? Nay. For GOD gave nor sent his Son to condemn the world but to save the world: in which, as in the days of Noah, the like figure of eight souls remain. Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does IT not, to him it is sin. For the Son of man IS Lord even of the Sabbath.
Walk in Christ be bold for the word and never be ashamed for it. If we speak the gospel in truth not make anything up , most suffer for it even today we are called crazy. I feel sorry for them, they are going to miss the joy of meeting our creator. This is the oldest written history and yet they wont teach it or read it God bless them and God Bless you all, walk in faith, trust in God always
I am understanding more clear. I often fear rejection but the love i have is deep and can never be turned away from. I need that assurance to let go. Trust and confidence

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Now these things are important to us because it has to do with knowing what Spirit we are of both in our relations with other disciples, and with those who don't yet know the Lord, whom we hope to influence well and lead them to Jesus. But of the innumerable multitudes of His Saints in all ages, including the myriads who have been tortured and persecuted and slain for their faith and fidelity to Jesus there is an incalculably unknown area of knowledge, that only that individual and God has by which He will decide and appoint to everyone their name and place with Him.
Eutychus; What do you think a Saint is? How can one who is not a disciple really be a Saint? Disciple indicates one who has consecrated himself by a course in life, OF DISCIPLINE. To walk in truth with a good conscience and without "stage-playing" can only be performed by grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, by OBEDIENCE, which means DISCIPLINE. Saint means a holy one, which MEANS sanctification.

Really? To live isn't watching the widescreen god? To live isn't playing sports? It isn't paying total attention to "devices". To live isn't to spend one's time in an all out drive to be entertained, even when in church?
If all that is living, then you bet! that dying in Jesus is a gain unsurpassed on this very earth...
In every letter of Paul, save Galatians, he addresses the saints as 'saints'. In fact, neither word, 'disciple' or 'disciples' ever occurs in the Bible again, after Acts 21:16.
It is my belief that our emphasis on making disciples, instead of making saints, has seriously limited the church. God doesn't need disciples today, He needs saints, and it is our task to help the Holy Spirit produce them.
Verse 10~We live in a world full of distractions and we must make sure of important things and make sure that we prioritize spiritual things and things that will be of lasting value.
I believe the Apostle Paul is telling his readers to never retire in the faith. Always preach the Gospel in some sort of way that reflects the love of Jesus Christ. We as Christians should never put down our tools of faith that God has given to us. We should remain focus on the call that God has ordained us to have. The easy chair and house coat Christian need not apply in this letter!

Philippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. Apostle Paul will defend his gospel that Jesus reveal to him.
Ephesians 1:13 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. We must BELIEVE gospel of Salvation 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and be saved and God will sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Amen
There are plenty of examples in the New Testament about the need to continue in the grace of God and the need to hold fast that which we have that we lose not the things we have wrought. Look at Ephesus for example; first and chief of the seven chosen from Asia: yet with all their great success they were in danger of their Candlestick being removed out of its place for forgetting their First Love!
Ray; sorry brother, you're wrong about that one. We have to continue on firm and steadfast, and not let slip away from our heart and mind the things we have wrought in the Lord. As long as we wake up each day in this present evil world, we will need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, with earnest striving and diligence, about the business of the Glad Tidings, and the time at hand!
