Nehemiah 7:4 The last word " BUILDED" throws me off. I know this is King James but I'm not sure if that should say " BUILT" as opposed to " BUILDED." Just something to ponder. Thanks!
Nehemiah: is a reminder for me today that the walls of righteousness and living , breathing Gods word will not only protect us from outside sin and fleshly life styles but bring revival to the land and country we live in including our own families. We must build up our own church then God will build us up. The wall had to be repaired , our lives must repent and receive healing so God can use us.
history seems to repeat itself - isreal today is stronger and more independant then the community set up in Nehemaiah's time - but strong similarities exist - the USA is 'like' Persia - and similar preoccupations of genealogy arise in Isreal
