I love this site, it has taught me so much about how to live my life and how to treat others. I love living the righteous way even though I still have not committed myself completely. But I'm still learning.

"The King James Bible is one of the great literary treasures our world has ever seen, especially when you consider who wrote the King James Bible, why it was written and when it was written. While it is a literary masterpiece, more importantly it is the Word of God. This is why it has endured. Not because of the commission of King James but because of the commission of God himself. Regardless of how people feel about God's word, you can be confident in knowing that God's word will endure forever.

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever" ( Isaiah 40:8 KJV)"

The LORD has declared our works as evil and unrighteous. We have only one of two choices before us. Disagree with GOD, and go through the pain and sufferings HE has promised unto those who reject HIS truths; or we can agree with our LORD and confess, repent, and renew our walk with HIM.

How we react to the LORD'S pointing out our sins and iniquities will determine our future blessings in HIM.

Our nation is in dire need of the LORD'S wisdom. Let we who are saved and active in the work of our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST be like Daniel and pray diligently and faithfully. Let us show the power of the LORD in everything we do in HIS name.

GOD to shine HIS face on all who are obedient and faithful to HIM. HIS glorious blessings are available to all who trust and obey in HIS word.

Praise the LORD for the faithfulness of the brethren on this forum.

As we recognize the dire situation in our country as in the current reading; let us also recognize that each of us may become that "... man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it:"

Let us agree to walk with the LORD and put forth HIS will and commandments first by carrying out HIS promises.

1- Let us confess and repent of our own sins. 1 John 1:9

2- Ephesians 2:8-10 Remember we are ordained to do good works!

    3- 2 Peter 3:9 love the lost

4- Matthew 28:18-20 Go make disciples

    5- 2 Timothy 2:15 Study HIS word

6- 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 Love, and apply HIS word

7- 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 pray for "...all that are in authority..."

8- Romans 10:1, 2 cultivate the desire and pray to GOD that all might be saved

This is in no particular order and not exhaustive by any means. I am sure the brethren on this forum are able and capable to add to it to the glory and praise of the LORD.

Titus 2:11-14 for while we wait and looking for that blessed hope; for HIS

glorious appearing may we be "...Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"

Our hope must be only in CHRIST and no one else. GOD to shine HIS face on all who are on this forum and gloriously bless your situation.

    Chris thanks for your response.

You said "When Peter declared this Truth to his readers". At the time Peter wrote these 2 Epistles it was around 60 AD. How far could the reach of hearing those words possibly be in 60 AD when we look at the size and population of the whole world? Chris these books are prophecy for us today. WE ARE HIS READERS!

You also said "These revelations were not of private interpretation (Gk. unloosing, unpacking) they weren't written as from man's determination, but by the "moving of the Holy Spirit upon them". I'm not sure what you mean here (Gk. unloosing, unpacking) but as for the Old Testament prophets being moved by the Holy Spirit? Can you provide verses as proof the OT prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit?

God spoke directly to the Old Testament prophets Chris. The words "Thus saith the LORD" show up 415 times.

In 60 AD why would Peter be concerned about telling the people (at that time) that the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost? They did already have the Hebrew manuscripts at that time, and one would think that they had complete faith and trust in them at that time.

Read (2 Pet Ch.2) This is prophecy for us today!

You also said "Nothing at all pointing to the KJB in these verses or any of the verses you've cited now and previously as supposedly referring to the KJB as one having pure words..purified seven times".

I don't want to offend you Chris but I'm not sure how closely you are reading these comments!

( Ps 12:6-7) Clearly points to seven times in which a time is 1 year, seven times is equal to the 7 years it took to translate the KJB, there's a major reference pointing to the KJB and it also promises God will preserve His Word for ever! ( Ps 12:7) Clearly tells us God preserved His Word from this generation for ever. FOR EVER!

Joseph and Mary where traveling from Nazareth to Bethlehem When they where in Bethlehem and when the time comes for Mary to have her child she gives birth to a son. She layd Him to sleep in a manger, because there are no rooms for them to stay in.

A angel appears to shepherds guarding their sheep telling that a savior has been born that night. And then the sheperds went to see the baby.

Then they find Mary, Joseph and the baby inside and they tell everyone what the angel had said to them. The baby is named Jesus, as said by the angel before. Mary and Joseph took him to Jerusalem to God and to offer the sacrifice.

Simeon was promised by the Holy Spirit that he will see the savior before he dies, then he went inside the temple recognizes Jesus as the savior sent by God. Simeon holds the baby in his arms and blesses God and said that he is happy to die now that he has seen the promised savior. He blesses Mary and Joseph.

Dear all, you are dearly loved by the Lord Jesus Christ and have fellowship with Him by the Holy Spirit. and in Him we are brothers and sisters and family with God Himself. Never forget that on your walk here on Earth. There will come a day Revelation 20:11 which we would like to have a discussion about. That day will be a weird day. Here is plain text. But now brothers and sisters are here on Earth and we are witnesses to everyone we meet, right? Even though we long for Home, we know that the time will come when we will be allowed home. Thanks be to God and have all the praise for our work.

I woke up this morning singing to the Lord in my mouth and heart. It must have been a beautiful dream of peace and of the Lord Himself! May worship be with me all day, I pray, Amen. Then I opened the Bible in Hebrews 6:1 reading the beautiful words probably Paul has written, influenced, inspired by the Lord Himself. And as so many Christians struggle with. In the New Testament they are put together as a common thread. So we WILL understand them eventually.

The words you read here are to be read in the Spirit of revelation and wisdom so that you find out for yourselves what the rest of the words and sets in the chapter are about, is the truth we are searching for. The truth we can testify to for hungry people outside the scheme. And we are also starving for God. He will give us both food and water that live and that will go into the eternal dwellings! Go out in peace everyone and know that you are the bearer of a light, a truth, a love like no other on this planet. And it/are will last forever. Amen

Stay close to Him and His word. For remember we shall search and seek, and we shall find. And we must seek more to not be deprived of what we have. When we have received much from the Lord, He will give us more. All in His Glory, Hallelujah Amen. Love u all in Christ Jesus.

Thank YOU FATHER for the forgiveness of my sins.

    v2

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputs not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

I have confessed my sins and have not withheld my iniquities before YOU; V5 "and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah."

All who are godly shall pray unto to YOU LORD, because YOU are our hiding place, and place of preservation. I am at peace and comfort because of the songs of deliverance that surround me as well as all who walk up rightly in YOUR presence.

Thank YOU for teaching and showing me YOUR way and where I should walk. I will not go about as a person who is obligated, or coerced; but I will walk in the love of YOUR wisdom and understanding.

Many are the sorrows of the wicked: but I will have YOUR mercy and peace all around me because I have learned to trust in YOU; Isaiah 26:3.

The righteous and upright in their heart will be glad in the LORD GOD, and rejoice, and shout for joy. For the joy of the LORD is my strength. Nehemiah 8:10

GOD bless and shine HIS face on all who are on this forum in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Thank YOU FATHER for this day as I worship and glorify YOU on this Resurrection Sunday. Let YOUR face shine upon us as we go forth as an army to do YOUR will. Let all the saints arise and not be silent in giving YOU praise!

May my tongue extol and magnify YOU, because YOU so richly deserve the praise we should give unto YOU. "May the words of my mouth be acceptable unto YOU."

Thank YOU LORD for answered prayers and the peace and comfort that follows as we learn to abide in YOU according to Scripture. Isaiah 26: 3 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

Praise the LORD for all on this forum and for the promises YOU give to us. May we all endeavor to trust, believe, and walk for "...in the joy of the LORD is my strength.."

May we be faithful as we pray for our nation's leadership and their need for a relationship with our LORD JESUS CHRIST. 1 Timothy 2:9. Let us not faint or be weak; but may we go forward and reach the lost. May we be not weary of well doing, but be strong through HIS word and promises.

We must be about the work of the LORD, making disciples as we called to do in Matthew 28: 18-20.

As GOD is not willing that anyone should perish, 1 Peter 3:9, we must be encouraged and plant the seed, water where we can so that the LORD GOD will give the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6

The time is at hand where all saints are called to duty and reach out, pray up, and tell to all the salvation available in the gospel of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Romans 10: 9-12; Acts 4:10-12.

GOD bless all on this platform and praise the LORD on this Resurrection Sunday, 2023. GOD to shine HIS face on all, and be gracious as we await HIS coming.

We need to be very careful about how we spend our time , time that we think we are devoting to God . Spending time on here , or other religious sites , time spent reading man made books about the Bible , are not in any way comparable to spending time actually reading the Bible . The Bible is God's love letter to us . It is the Word of the Creator to His beloved Creation . Only in it do we find real peace , strength , truth and righteousness . There is no where else on earth that is pure . It is the brightest warmest most beautiful place . It's there that we all belong , it is our first love , our home . Everything else is a distraction and we all know who is responsible for those don't we ?
