Bob Davis; as the Lord said, "For a Testimony unto them;" ( Leviticus 14), "This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing.." with the cleansing of the leper, the Priests were prescribed certain procedures with specific materials, with the blood of a sacrifice, and oil representing the Spirit; and pronouncing him clean was to show the work of Christ to cleanse and restore us to God.

  • Todd Brawley on Matthew 8 - 6 years ago
Fear not. Fear leads to anger. And we all know where it goes from there. Just trust God, no matter the situation, he will be there. GODSPEED
  • Centurian on Matthew 8 - 6 years ago
Praise God, for he has visited His people. Now we are certain that He exists and that He rewards those who continue in their diligence, those who never waver in their faith, those whose humility exceeds that if the Pharisee, and those who are healed according to their belief that whom God has sent was capable of healing and more, of converting hearts from cynicism to surrender to the infinite God

"...Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed." Simply a fact! there was no fanatic display of the person having to charge himself up "in the Holy Ghost," and nothing he had to perform at all! He simply asked the Lord Jesus to have mercy on him; AND HE DID! This is how prayers are answered, and how folks are saved and healed.
  • Wayne on Matthew 8 - 6 years ago
Rose Adams, the veil is still covering the Jews when the scriptures are read.
  • Wayne on Matthew 8 - 6 years ago
Carmen, confessing your sins to a priest is confessing to another sinner. Each person must go to Jesus Christ themselves for salvation. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. No human can forgive your sins. We are saved by the precious blood of the Son of God.
  • La on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
The hand of God is enough. We tend to as why because we are seeing the word of God with our physical eyes. God is all powerful infinite never ending. The disciples wrote the new treatment and in different point of--each man was chosen by Jesus himself. If you ask the Lord for something or a question he always confirms it. From somewhere you will get your answer again. It amazing when u realize

Peggy, in accordance with Irene, 1 James 1:5-6, states we are to ask wisdom of God, where we lack, and He will not refuse us nor make fun of our lack of understanding. I have done this at times I did not understand, and He gave me the answers. Not always right away, but we are to insist and persist. He Loves Us!
  • Wayne on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
Carmen, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, states There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men,The Man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Each sinner needs to confess their sins and sinfulness to Christ alone. He is our open door to the Heavenly Father.
  • Irene123 on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
Matt. ch.8 says 2 men; Mk. says one man; this book, Peggy, is the Bible; God's Word. Try asking Him ...; and no, I am being serious, not facetious.
  • Peggy Johnson on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
Why is it you say two came out and were possessed it was only one man. Read this same story in the book of mark it is only one man not two.
  • Mark verrell on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
JESUS confronts the demons, the demons sort of challenge HIM saying "have YOU come here to torment us before the time" and the demons ask HIM to put them into the herd of swine" all of a sudden I am sorta baffled as to the demons sorta have free regain but more so JESUS does as they the demons request. JESUS does everything righteously) I guess HE KNEW the swine would kill themselv
  • Bruce on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
Carmen are you saying, If we went to a priest, God will forgive our sins. Or, God will forgive us for going to a priest?
  • Irene123 on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
To Carmen - You're on a KJV Bible site; not the Catholic Douay. They are 2 different Bibles - and only one is true; only one is from God.
  • Bruce on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago

This message is for Tjohn, I will just like to tell you and encourage you, that first and foremost we serve a Faithful God. And us as believers are suppose to only live by faith. Meaning that Jesus Christ have already paid the price for us. By his stripes you are healed. As long as you confess it with your whole heart. This applies to you. Just ask God for forgiveness then forgive yourself.

  • Karl on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
to Tjohn, before the LORD's grace can heal you, you must heal that which you wounded and bind up that which you tore down. In other words grace must first be shown to have a place in your own soul before it may find a place to abide - heal, that you may be healed. any help?
  • Tjohn on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
I have prayed for healing. I am afraid the sins of my youth has come to haunt me. I cry daily and am fearful. I know my faith is not what it should be. Can someone advise me on how to make it stronger? I need GOD to heal me.
  • Tori on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
Our inheritance of God's kingdom is through our belief in His Son Christ Jesus. This acknowledges His undeniable gift of love for us. We strengthen our spiritual selves through daily reading of the word. We have a closer walk and relationship with our Father through prayer without ceasing. The flesh follows by applying what the Holy Spirit leads us to do or say when the time comes.
  • George John on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
    Comment*
I learnt that God's kingdom is always inherited and attained through hilliness, faithfulness and obedience towards what God requires you or me to do in our daily life.
  • Gamaliel on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
To Derek; The kingdom of Heaven is the place (heaven itself) The children of the kingdom are those of us who are on earth (the Kingdom of God). Jesus marveled that this non-Jew had the understanding of how faith works. The children of the kingdom suffer from ignorance and suffer here on earth because they wont use the faith given them to overcome sickness and poverty.
  • DEREK EUVRARD on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
I don't understand why it's states that the children of the kingdom will be cast into the outer darkness and gnawed by teeth...
  • Charles fiorucci on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
