Our Lord smelt so so good, And this signified His glorious kingship to face death with a victorious persona.There was no use for the Marys to go to the tomb later to spice His body.This woman was led by the Spirit of God to do this rememberable deeds.This goes on to show that our repentance is essential so that God can use us in His Vineyard. This woman was regarded the very least in the Kingdom yet God used her losses for the gain of the whole world that Christ died for.Let it be noted that this very deed potrayed the ressurrection, for it were for death alone, she would not have poured it all out but applied it and kept the rest to sell.The reaction that she recieved from her fellowman shows how we are quick to speak and slow to listen and that brings about judgement, which we are not to partake in.This woman displayed love in its truest form, the love that Christ taught!
There were twelve disciples that was chosen and one of them was not right, but yet had to be chosen to betray JESUS that the scriptures had to be fulfilled, this also tells us to be careful of the people that come into our life because some people are not in our life for the right reason, we have to watch and pray at all times.
Verse 14 "Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests and asked, 'How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you? ' And they gave him thirty pieces of silver. From that time on, Judas began looking for the right time and place to betray Jesus. " Why was Jesus betrayed for 30 pieces of silver? Why not some other number, like 15, or 35, or 8? First, 30 is the number predicted in the Scriptures. For instance, Zechariah 11 13 reads "And the LORD said to me, 'Throw it to the potter ' 'that princely price they set on me. ' So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD for the potter. Second, the number 30 has a spiritual significance. 10 is the number of redemption or salvation. 3 is the number of the Trinity. And 3 times 10 is thrity. This means that all 3 members of the Godhead had a hand in our redemption. Stated plainly, the Father is the way God makes his decisions. That 's one 10. The Son or Jesus is the way God carries out his dicisions and speaks to us. That 's 2 tens or 20. And the Holy Spirit is the way God inspires us to believe in what he is doing through Jesus. It is not easy to hold on the faith if troubles and hardship knock at the door where Jesus once knocked. People must always pray to God to increase their faith. Amen!

There is no mistranslation in the KJB...it has been perfectly and accurately perserved...
Because there are so many men in the Bible named Simon...This particular Simon was the the title of "the Leper" to distinguish him from the other Simons, and to remind us that he was healed in Mark 1:40 and is now able to fellowship and have people over at his house...he probabley moved from Galilee (if he was a resident there, or could have only visited to be healed) to Bethany
"Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified." Jesus is the Son of God. The Son of man is EVIL which will be crucified. The power of evil will be destroyed when Jesus, as a sacrifice for mans sin, briefly becomes Sin at the moments before his death as he shouts out, "My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?" God did not forsake Jesus his son, he forsake Evil, the Son of man. Evil/Sin is crucified on the cross. The Son of man, evil, has no power over people that accept the sacrifice of Jesus who destroyed sin on the cross for all that love God and accept the Son of God, Jesus, as savior.
Correction on Passover feast at verse17, the blood of a lamb without spot- this represents a sinless sacrifice which of course was a pre-type of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world.

On verse 17- I do not see the connection with the last supper of Jesus Christ before his crucifixion and catechism;
1. The Passover feast is in remembrance of when the angel of death passed over any house with blood of a lamb spot on the door posts when God sent his angel to kill all the first born of the Egyptians;
2. Days of unleavened bread lasted 7 days and Jews were not allowed to eat anything that contained leaven (yeast) which represents sin in the bible;
3. The feast of first fruits at this time represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
4. The Jews recognize 7 different feasts.
5. Verse 17 is what we born again Christians commonly recognize as the last supper or the Lord�s Supper ( I Corinthians 11:23-30). Catechism is not something Christians usually participate in. Catechism is simply classes that a certain religious denomination offers their members which is a time of Questions and Answers, and preparing members of that religion to have a better understanding of that religion and how to perform certain functions within that religious denomination. Christians are encouraged to study the bible and take classes, but do not call it catechism.
Verse 39, to get the correct interpretation on this verse one must understand Matthew 27:46. Jesus has never been separated from God the father before, and Jesus knew that at the time of his crucifixion that God the father must not look upon sin and when all the sins of all men was placed on Jesus on the cross, first time ever that Jesus and God the father were separated by sin. This is why Jesus prayed in the garden that if it be possible let this cup pass from me.
