I think the Bible does not support the information you have provided here and I shared ample scriptures supporting the opposite view. The fact is it's easy to become a Christian, but continuing to follow Christ for the duration of ones life is another matter. There are many documented cases of real Christians choosing to leave the faith. The ex-Christian forum on Reddit has 71,000+ members. People claiming they weren't Christians in the first place might be a cop out to explain the reality they don't want to face- that Christians can indeed lose their salvation. Jesus preached to fear the Lord and put effort and strive to avoid sin. 'go and sin no more'- if people were incapable of sinning Jesus wouldn't have kept saying that to his followers over and over and kept warning them through parables over and over. So, I believe the scripture shows this is a big deception to believe that Christians can't sin. This is surely from satan, because he loves to get Christians to believe it's ok to sin, and they sure do. They do regularly, even intentionally, because they believed the lie that they can live in the world and follow the world instead of following Jesus with no consequences. One of us is wrong. I don't believe God has stripped anyone of their freewill when they follow Him. If this were true then it would have been impossible for an angel in heaven like satan to rebel and be cast out. This is important enough to pray and ask God what the real truth is. Salvation is very important. Jesus didn't die so people can abuse his grace and slap Him in the face while they follow the world in sin. Unfortuantely, some luke warm Christians will go to hell- God is the judge. Matthew 7:14. Adam, I do not think you understand what it means to be born again. How did Christ not sin. He was born of God and the Father keep him from sinning. The Holy Ghost came upon Mary (woman) and she conceived and birthed a child (Christ, the first born Son). The Holy Ghost comes upon us (we are impregnated) and after gestation (spending hours in Gods word and being graced with the Holy Spirit) you (woman, Revelation 12:1) give birth to a child (us, the first fruit of Christ). The same Holy Ghost that Fathered Christ, Fathers you, the same God that kept Christ from sinning keeps you from sinning. I Timothy 2:14-15 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman (symbolic of us) being deceived was in the transgression. If you believe it's impossible for a Christian to sin, does that mean tonight your or I can commit any sin we'd like and it wouldn't be sin? I'm a Christian and just like Paul have struggles of the flesh and part of me would really like to commit a fleshly sin tonight. Is your belief that I can proceed to do that and not be sinning? What if I do the same tomorrow and the next day for the rest of my life and add more sins too, do you truly believe there be no consequence? I believe the opposite of what you stated, because of what I see in the scriptures. God forgiving our sin and cleaning us is different than claiming someone cannot sin- that it's impossible. That's a logical leap into a whole different territory in which there's a mountain of scripture warning us against sin (including Christians) and no scriptures saying it's impossible for us to sin. It's also different than God 'not seeing sin' due to grace covering us as long as we're following Christ (a Christian). The old testament verses above do not mean someone cannot sin. If no one can sin, what's the point of asking for forgiveness? If no one can sin, what's the point of avoiding sin and striving to be perfect like Jesus said? If no one can sin, what's the point of spreading the gospel? If no one can sin, then you can ignore the Bible and just follow the world and do whatever sin you want with no consequence? The Bible already said that's not the case. Paul wrote about his fleshly struggles to sin- if there was no sin would it make sense that he would write that? If no sin, does that mean you can't blaspheme the holy spirit, either? Why would Jesus preach and challenge his followers with all these instructions if they couldn't sin and their actions were irrelevant. Satan is the father of lies and one of these teachings is truth and one is a lie. They are not both true. So, if satan was going to deceive someone is it likely they would deceive someone into being 'gooder' than they need to be or to be 'badder'- to convince them it's ok to sin, that you will surely 'not' be punished for it. To me that sounds like the same being behind the 1st temptation in the garden of eden- the father of lies is always not far away from any false teaching. I very much wasn't being critical of Jesus, but of how people precieve him. This was very much rhetorical. My point being that he didn't do the thing people often claim, it goes against his character. The last supper couldn't have been the passover Seder. Jesus was the Passover, he would have died on the day before The Festival of Unleavened Bread. God often gives exception to rules. We're not a religion of legalism, but he does set things in place as guidelines. If you're looking for scripture on healing on the Sabbath, that's Lev 18:5 live by the law (meaning don't die by it). Ez 20 something as well. Preservation of life, even animal life (donkey in the ditch) is sacred. My point was also that in a Jewish city Judas couldn't buy if he wanted to, the rabbis we're ruthless on Sabbath breakers. There's also the issue of Deut 13, if a prophet says anything contrary to Moses they are not a prophet of God. Lev 18 covers healing on Sabbath, and the law isn't a legalistic barrier of absolutes, but if Jesus taught against certain things he would be suspect. I believe with every fiber of my being that he is Messiah, Lord, redeemer, restitution, and equal sacrefice. My point isn't to actually ask, but to get people to look into the word. The main reason I even responded to this is because you seemed strong in scripture and I didn't want you thinking less of me because of a misunderstanding. Even if Judas could have gotten things on the Sabbath, what could they have prepared for if not the Seder. You're right about what you said, it's just not what I was implying was wrong. If Jesus was the Passover lamb he had to be killed at the same time all of the other lambs were being slaughtered for Passover. He arrived 10 days before slaughter, as was the law. He was without blemish as was the law. He was even the equal sacrifice, he was the only person in history born of God except Adam; Paul said that Jesus paid Adam's sin (ours as well) but he was, therefore, an equal sacrifice to Adam. He fulfilled hundreds of prophecies, came out of Egypt (salvation from Egypt), baptized at 30 (as was the law for priests), became the high priest (after Melchizedek), fulfilled all of psalm 22 (no broke bone, pierced hands, out of joint, hanged on a tree, etc...), he restituted the gentiles to Israel, he hasn't wed the perfect virgin yet (that's revelations 21 where he does that), but he has fulfilled every prophecy except a few to come. What I am saying is, if he did all of this, if he fulfilled all of these prophecies, fulfilled the festival of Sukkoth, fulfilled Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashana, EVEN Hanukkah! Why would he not die on the day when the Passover was supposed to die? It drives me crazy, he is a perfect God, why would he set up a festival literally about passing over sin (Egypt being bondage, bondage in sin specifically) and have him die on the WRONG DAY! I'm not even going to get into why people think it would be Sunday that he rose. If you believe it's impossible for a Christian to sin, does that mean tonight your or I can commit any sin we'd like and it wouldn't be sin? I'm a Christian and just like Paul have struggles of the flesh and part of me would really like to commit a fleshly sin tonight. Is your belief that I can proceed to do that and not be sinning? What if I do the same tomorrow and the next day for the rest of my life and add more sins too, do you truly believe there be no consequence? At what point does a Christian suddenly become 'was never a Christian'?
Did you hover over any of the verses above and do you feel they are consistent with what you're saying here, like Hebrews 10:26?

I believe the opposite of what you stated, because of what I see in the scriptures. God forgiving our sin and cleaning us is different than claiming someone cannot sin- that it's impossible. That's a logical leap into a whole different territory in which there's a mountain of scripture warning us against sin (including Christians) and no scriptures saying it's impossible for us to sin. It's also different than God 'not seeing sin' due to grace covering us as long as we're following Christ (a Christian). The old testament verses above do not mean someone cannot sin. If no one can sin, what's the point of asking for forgiveness? If no one can sin, what's the point of avoiding sin and striving to be perfect like Jesus said? If no one can sin, what's the point of spreading the gospel? If no one can sin, then you can ignore the Bible and just follow the world and do whatever sin you want with no consequence? The Bible already said that's not the case. Paul wrote about his fleshly struggles to sin- if there was no sin would it make sense that he would write that? If no sin, does that mean you can't blaspheme the holy spirit, either? Why would Jesus preach and challenge his followers with all these instructions if they couldn't sin and their actions were irrelevant. Satan is the father of lies and one of these teachings is truth and one is a lie. They are not both true. So, if satan was going to deceive someone is it likely they would deceive someone into being 'gooder' than they need to be or to be 'badder'- to convince them it's ok to sin, that you will surely 'not' be punished for it. To me that sounds like the same being behind the 1st temptation in the garden of eden- the father of lies is always not far away from any false teaching. Once saved, always saved is another teaching people often distort in order to justify sinning and blaspheming against God.

They can't get inside of a Christian unless they are apostate: have spurned Christ to follow the world. People in satanic religions routinely allow demons access to their bodies. With a body, the demons can hurt, kill, cause accidents, sickness, drug and alcohol dependence. I guess you could say wicked people are weak.
Christians who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit of God (Paul said our bodies are the Temple of God)...cannot be invaded by demons.
That's why we are told to keep our human bodies swept of idols and garnished with the Word that we read in our Bibles. They know we can cast them away with some

This wasn't a prophesy. It's a word of knowledge; like when he spoke to the woman at the well.

Even John the Baptist was born to fulfill prophesy. A voice crying in the wilderness.
It was even a prophesy as to where the donkey and colt was that He would ride into Jerusalem on.
I have this great chart of all the prophesies that would be fulfilled in Jesus ministry, right up to the Cross.
The one thing that made Him stay awake all evening when He was going to be betrayed and arrested, was when he would be separated from His Father while on the Cross: taking upon himself the sins of all the world, for all time.
All you can say, truly He is the Son of God.
All things were provided, so I know a basket of bread and some bottles of wine were a small detail. Let's search for Bread. Maybe it's on that list, I hope. Or in Isaiah? Joseph of Aramatheia (who provided the tomb) ?
The odds of all the prophesies being fulfilled have to be more than all the stars in our galaxy. How really can anyone doubt He is who he said He is.
I know it's natural to want to prove everything; but I believe what Jesus said: unless we become as this little child...in our faith; we cannot please God.

The Dispersed Jews are returning by plane loads, every day. The Land is blooming, producing. Someone said there are wheat fields in Israel; water, oil. The Jews love for their land abounds. But they must turn their LOVE on the Lord, Messiah; who loves them again.
Don't doubt. Keep your full expectation on God to fulfill every thing that has been written and recorded. Ignore the NAYSAYERS. Jesus is impressed with our faith in Him. Preach that. Like John the Baptist.

I don't think that we should be critical of anything Jesus did. He had his reasons.

Let's not suffer loss of rewards at the Bema Seat Judgment of Christ; for teaching something that's contrary to what Jesus did.
I'm thinking there's a scripture in the Old Testament that will shed some light. Must be Lamentations because I don't read that book enough.
God puts stumbling blocks in our paths, so we will trip over them. This may be one of those. Let's keep studying.
