    Thank You!

    I so appreciate Your feedback.

I have a question though. Why would Elijah abd Elisa be left behind?
  • Richard - In Reply on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
    Brother Misael,

I'll keep this one short and sweet as the last post I made didn't seem to make it up. I very much enjoy reading your writings and this is to you. Last year, after being led to and accepting Christ, I heard very loud trumpet blasts one night. It was an intimate experience when the Lord came to me. I have typed a detailed Testimony of what happened to me as it was all centered around Jesus Christ and our Father. I allowed this site to publish what I wrote in their book as they ask after submitting your Testimony. I don't know how long after submitting your Testimony when it will come up in that section. You're the one who informed me that there was a section for Testimonies.

I just felt to write this to you brother. God Bless.

    Good question.

Yes there is a pre-tribulation rapture! Hope to see you there!

The two witnesses (Enoch and Elihah I believe) were men in the Old Testament who never dies and were raptured. In the Tribulation, they are sent to preach to those people during the Tribulation (Jews). And yes, there is also a post tribulation rapture of Tribulation saints i.e. those who obtained salvation, including the two witnesses I believe. HOWEVER, these people are not "alive in Christ" perse. There are no "Christians" / Body of Christ in the Tribulation because they have been raptured at this point. Salvation is not through Christ's blood atonement in the Tribulation, believe it or not, salvation reverts back to the Mosaic Law (Matthew ch 5-7,24) There will also be an angel proclaiming an "everlasting gospel" ( Revelation 14:6).

Good question. I hope this helped.
  • What are we gonna do about Jesus - In Reply on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
What secular book did you read, to get this explanation of when everybody, dead then alive; are caught up into the clouds to Jesus Christ?

The 2 people you speak of were translated to heaven without tasting death. When they return, to Jerusalem, they are going to preach the Gospel to the Jews, and to the entire planet, by satellite (Internet), and antenna (to the poor). Everybody on earth will see it. Antichrist will order them killed; which will be witnessed by everyone on earth.

The Christians will already have been caught up.

WE ARE ALL to be LOOKING for JESUS'S return. Listening for the shout and the trump of God. Only the Father knows when that moment will be. Christians must be actively looking and listening for that; every moment of every day or night.

This is all written down in the Bible. You have no need that any man teach you. We all have the ability to accept what is already written. Jesus would say to us: IT IS WRITTEN!!

Other than the well known "caught up" scriptures, many many more OT prophesies are in the Bible like gems, that, light up those verses.

This is no time to be fascinated by the secular explanation of these things. Books make money. They become idols, if it distracts you from the Truth of the pages in THE BIBLE. Jesus is not going to listen to excuses, like: but, but, I have this (secular) book that says, thus and so!!

Just the words of, "but, but, but" are the language of goats. Who butt their heads against the revealed and known Truth of Gods Word. You must make a choice now: to FOLLOW JESUS.....or to follow the writer of a secular book.

Everyone in this website has a responsibility to lead these people to the truth as a disciple of Jesus did (Peter, John, Paul, and the others). Not spilling out miles and miles of scriptures; but actually witnessing, preaching, one on one. Tell your TESTIMONY. Like Jesus, be real; be Jesus in the flesh.

Folks in Christ during The Tribulation of the Anti-Christ will not be openly working in the fields! They will be running for Their lives! So Matthew 24:40-41 implies a Rapture before the Anti-Christ Tribulation.
  • Sandra Torres on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
Matthew 24:40-41 Sure implies that there will be a rapture of Those in Christ! Peace time is described here not Tribulation time. So this Rapture has to happen when Folks in Christ are not in The Tribulation of The Anti-Christ.
  • Sandra Torres on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
Matthew 24:23 The Secret Chambers here is meant that Jesus Christ is in Folks in Christ.
  • Sandra Torres on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
Why would The Two Witnesses not be raptured when The Body of Christ is raptured? If a rapture happens PreTribulation then it has to be when The Two Witnesses get raptured. If Post Tribulation then it that rapture would br solely described of Matthew 24:40. Which means that only The Two Witnesses get raptured PreTribulation. Which means that those alive in Christ after The Two Witnesses get raptured up would have to live through the Anti-Christ Tribulation until Jesus Christ's Second Coming.
  • Sandra Torres on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
Matthew 24:14 could this be when the Two Witnesses preach in Golgatha where Jesus died?
  • BRIAN HILLIS on Matthew 24:36 - 3 years ago
What shall it mean to me as i find difficulty in the belief of the preaching and quotes concerning the nearness of rapture, although my belief in Father-Son - Holy Spirit- Creation- Satan and his Followers Ultimate Punishment is as always secure ?? so I shall from today (14/09/2020) be spending time with the Holy Spirit to tell me why i should have these thoughts ??.

Please consider the following as you refuse to accept God's 'Life' giving message.

God unites His people (the believers) by His Spirit ( John 4:24; Eph. 4:3-6,13).

Luke 9:56. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

    Matthew 11:6. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me ( Isa. 8:14; Matthew 13:57; 24:10; 26:31; Rom. 9:32; 1 Cor. 1:23; 2:14; Gal. 5:11; 1 Peter 2:8).

John 3:19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Luke 11:22. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

1 John 4:4-6. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he than is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice ( John 8:47; 18:37).

You search the scriptures for in them ye think that ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life ( John 5:39,40).

He that is spiritual judgeth (discerneth) all things, yet he himself is judged by no man ( 1 Cor. 2:15).

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true ( Proverbs 1:7; 10:8,21; 12:15; 13:20; 14:9; 16:22; 18:2; 20:3; 29:11; Luke 18:10-14; Cor. 1:20; 2:14; 15:36).

We regret that you are not able to understand any of the above ( 1 Cor. 2:14; 2 Cor. 7:10). Notwithstanding: Seek and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

Don't let your self-righteousness stand in the way of your salvation ( Romans 10:2-4).

    In His Service.

The door to repentance is more than knowing the Word of God, it is more than saying the Rock is Jesus Christ and the foundation of all Truth is built upon Him, it is more that saying Jesus died on the Cross for me, it is more than preaching for the need of repentance. This door is mercy and this door will be opened to any believer that allows the Truth and Holiness of God in Jesus Christ by boldly moving forward in faith to have your person (sin) be crushed by the Rock. This mercy and this Holy way of God is nothing we can achieve for ourselves and of ourselves. Freedom in Christ Jesus will be found in this crushing of self by one's surrender by choice to this Rock of Salvation, Jesus Christ.

The old person or man will perish, but the new person will know the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in His resurrected life. This new person is a blessing and freedom and is fed by the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost sent by Jesus from Heaven. This Comforter will provide love beyond measure for Jesus, brethren and His love, through you reflected towards your neighbor.

Before the True Christian was crushed by the door of repentance which is God's Holy Mercy (because he wants every soul to Himself to share His Glory) they were a neighbor to Jesus. So we are our neighbors neighbor.

Therefore know this door of Mercy by personally being crushed by the Rock of Salvation and then you can love your neighbor as yourself and in know the Righteousness that is in Him and His Holiness.

    God bless our meditations.

    1-52 above Jesus mind is on SALVATION for you & I (see John 3:16-21 and similar verses to learn of SALVATION);

Note: notice the HEART OF JESUS is very concern with those SAVED being VERY KEENLY aware of the many signs given in 1-52.

Note: We should LEARN and KNOW at least 1 of the signs in 1-52 because...see 44 above.

Note: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35

Yes, the spirit of lawlessness and rebellion has taken hold! Unfortunately our young people have no foundation; and public education in America has made them ignorant....and malleable. They are easily manipulated by satanic spirits, most especially the fascists who control the media and academia.

Prayer, prayer and more prayer for the young people of the world; that they would reject evil and open the doors of their hearts to truth through the Word of God...our Lord Jesus Christ.

I smoked off and on in my earlier yrs , and enjoyed it too , but conviction that it could be unhealthy if done too much is not good , it's the lords temple so we need to keep as it where his Temple . Also it is offensive to others . So treat it as a sin , the flesh is weak and craves the addiction and habit . But rest assured God will supply the strength to over come when we take right path of stopping it . Ask seek His help .

It's not easily done but don't stop trying , it will eventually never enter your mind again at one point in the future . I don't miss it any more .

Full commitment to quitting is the biggest step , gets easier as you go , was my experience.

Flossy Ann, Life is hard....take it one day (or even one hour) at a time. You are correct in wanting believers to pray for you. Over 20 years ago I woke up one day with a terrible hangover and worse...a feeling that I may have hurt someone (verbally) with my drunken behavior. When I asked this person he said "What are you talking about? You were hilarious last night.", but there was a feeling of shame that I couldn't stand.

While I wasn't an alcoholic in the usual sense, I had been out carousing for 20 straight nights. And this was a pattern for about 15 years. And often I had feelings of worthlessness so I did abuse alcohol and this constant carousing to "feel good"..but it was a fakeout, a counterfeit!

That morning, before I lifted my aching head from the pillow, I called out to God, whom I did not know personally, and gave him control of my life and just said " I don't want to feel like this anymore!!" No, it wasn't instantaneous but before I knew it I had lost my desire for this lifestyle and began getting to know my savior. I praise God that he delivered me from that life. And more importantly...to know my savior personally and to know that I will live in His kingdom with Him eternally!!! Unspeakable joy! Stay in the Word and keep praying!!!

Other ways to find your answers is go all the way down to the 1-100 pages of Comment History. You will most likely see your question has already been answered.
  • Mishael on Matthew 24:9 - 3 years ago
Some of your questions can be answered sooner, if you'll learn how to use the 2 SEARCH boxes when you first enter the room. One is empty and the other one you can "dial" in the scripture you're looking for.

While the scripture is upon the screen, touch or click on it and it will highlight yellow. Scroll down till you see the Commentary box, click and open.

If you don't see exactly what you want, use the fast google box. It will take you to a list that tries to locate your scripture.

To get back here, use your back arrow.

    Matthew 4, 5

When I began reading the bible over 45 yrs ago these verses really got my attention, but never understood them . I heard many explanations but they did not answer it to me .

It's quoted in Mark and Luke's gospels as well .

This is what they the deceived say about who Jesus is . And I have never met a person that says they are Christ so strike that off the list of meanings .

I Am refers to God so there is a lack of understanding of God and Christ in there profession .

The biblical understanding is that Jesus the Christ is come in the flesh . The Son of God .

    There is a difference .

Who are the many ? And what do they mean ? It's a very difficult subject that only the Holy Spirit can give understanding in . Knowing who Jesus is makes the difference , it's all in the Bible . No need to turn to commentaries or other . Ask the Lord for wisdom and get it .

    Matthew 24:24

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution ( Acts 7:48; 17:24) a few hours a week does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

Dear Flossy, thanks for what you shared. You belong here.

    >You can't help someone drowning if you are drowning also.

    >You can't be sick and help another sick person.

Have you ever challenged these thoughts you wrote? Where does this belief come from? Everyone is a work of progress. We're all imperfect. We all are on a journey. We all can grow and CAN change if we try. We can learn to love ourselves more, to give ourselves a break and to give others a break. We can show compassion to anyone. It doesn't take any special qualifications to help others. It doesn't even require arms, legs, the ability to speak. For example, most have the ability to smile and show appreciation to another. To pay a compliment. To show you care. Have you seen the YouTube video of the man with no arms, legs who became a motivational speaker?

I know the quoted statements above are not true, because my mentor suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts throughout his life. Thank God he did not believe what you said, because he helped save my life. And not just me, he's been an inspiration to so many people- more than he even realizes. But yes, he has a thorn in his flesh 2 Corinthians 12:6-7 just like Paul from the Bible did. Have you ever noticed that God has a special liking for disadvantaged people? Moses had a speaking impediment and yet God asked him to be the leader of possibly over a million Israelites. Etc. The reality is even the people you can't see flaws on, have big flaws they are aware of. We do have a choice of what we do with our gifts and abilities though.

I would challenge you to start using your gifts to help others. You will in turn feel great about doing it. It may be a challenge during this temporary pandemic, but there are other ways to show acts of kindness to others and do things to ease someone else's burden. Have you considered praying for some of the many needs on this website who share their prayer requests?

God is a great designer and he loves you even if you don't know it yet. You're here for a reason.

I have made my promise to God clear. I have said repeatedly, release some of this sorrow and I will help other people who are struggling. You can't help someone drowning if you are drowning also. I know what its like when you feel like no one has your back and you never knew trust to begin with. I have been there. I can only help people once I'm well enough to. You can't be sick and help another sick person. That is what got me pulled into addiction to begin with. I had depression already, I was trying to help this person who was addicted, we ended up in a relationship. I wanted to make him happy, he needed me to be more "social" and eventually, he wore me down. I started using. I knew it was bad but I wasn't close, couldn't feel God at the time. Satan worked on me 4 months. 4 months and I finally caved. I thought well no one cares, this isn't getting easier, I will do it just enough to get through this time. I had an eating disorder 10+ years before I got into this addiction and part of it was running. I had to run a certain amount of time a day to stay a certain type of way so that someone would love me. I was working full time then and trying to run and trying to support my now- boyfriend's drug habit and I was thinking I'm spending so much time driving around and money I might as well be doing it. So I started using and realized the eating thing took care of itself. I think I would have kept on doing it if it didn't bother me we were lying to everyone all the time. But it did bother me. So that is why I can't be helping people right now. When I develop some better coping mechanisms and have a more solid feeling of trust in who God is and who I am, yes. I will help people. But, I cannot right now. I'm dealing with my own mess right now and going through all the lies and trauma in my past and its a lot to deal with sober considering I spent my life running from pain. I just get overwhelmed at times and that is why I go to these sites for prayer.
