JESUS quoted verse 1-14 above, and we see JESUS mind is on SALVATION for each of us thereby being in the KINGDOM OF GOD. Notice the one who failed to meet the standard for being in the KINGDOM therefore that person who is bind hand and foot and taken away, and cast into outer darkness where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  • Steven kite on Matthew 22
I just would like to say praise you KING JESUS!!!!
  • Wayne Tucker on Matthew 22
Kerry, follow the teachings of Christ and you will not go wrong! Jesus is our leader, his words are correct and powerful. Steven Botts already answered your questions. Which is the correct answer. God Bless!
  • Kerry on Matthew 22
This is likely the wrong place to ask, but I heard from a Jewish man that they do not believe either, 1-in Jesus,or 2-that he was not resurrected, I can't remember now which, but I have read that the Jewish people ARE God's chosen children, yet how can this be if either 1 or 2 from above is correct? KJV says to be saved we MUST believe in Jesus, which I do, but Jewish doctrine is confusing me.
  • Stephen Botts - in Reply on Matthew 22
The Jews are still God's chosen people. But, having rejected the true Messiah, Jesus, the gospel is gone now to the Gentiles. Until the time of the gentiles are fulfilled the eyes of the Jews are blinded. Not that a Jewish person can't be saved. But they are willingly blind as to Jesus being the Messiah. They will recognize Him as the One whom they pierced at His second advent.
  • Gale Myers on Matthew 22
Matthew 22: 30 seems to say that the family relationships we have now will not be continued in heaven. I do not dispute that, but I am a little confused by it. Many of us look forward to seeing our parents, our spouces, our children and grand children. Can you make this a little more clear for me?
  • Richard castillo - in Reply on Matthew 22
Hello, Jesus will be the center of our attention that's who we will want to see, and the 2nd greatest commandment Love your neighbor as yourself, I believe we will love one another equally and be just as happy to see a stranger in heaven as we will our earthly family
  • Stanjett - in Reply on Matthew 22
they will be there but we will not be married to them. For in heaven we neither marry or are given in marriage but are as the angels in heaven which do not marry.
  • Cassi - in Reply on Matthew 22
When we get to heaven we wil be in a different form, but we will know who our family members there are, even the ones who died before we were born. We will know who everyone there is. I dont think we will look at them as my current spouse or parent or sibling, but one thing I know we definitely will be fellowshipping and rejoicing with them.
  • Ann - in Reply on Matthew 22
Gale Myers, I believe we will know everyone. The rich man in hell knew Lazarus in Abraham's bosom. Also, the rich man in hell knew Abraham even though they had never met. Family relationships are for here and now. If marriage was forever a widow or widower would not be allowed to remarry.
  • Gale Myers - in Reply on Matthew 22
Thank you Ann. I agree with you. I am getting old. I am past 80 now and sometimes I can't remember WHY I believe the things I believe. Thanks again. Hold my hand tight Jesus. We are close to home. I don't want to get lost now.
  • Ann - in Reply on Matthew 22
Gale Myers, I am so happy to have helped you. You will not be lost. Yes, we are almost there, the Lord is so close. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Bless you my friend. Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear even I will carry, and will deliver you.

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
  • Leese on Matthew 22
I do not ever want to hear those words from Jesus: I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:23. I know I am Born Again and covered by the atoning Blood of my Savior Jesus, but my mind has been under attack with really bad thoughts about Father God and Jesus burdening me daily. When these thoughts happen doubt and fear creep in and it is wearing me out. Pray for me
  • Joe hutchinson - in Reply on Matthew 22
The verse you referenced is about a man how didnt have faith but was trying to work his way in to heaven so the lord didnt know him. If you've ever believed you have no worries the lord knows you.
  • Lisa Dawson - in Reply on Matthew 22
Thank You Joe. I finally realized that these last days have been so dark that the darkness seemed to be swallowing me up. I came across a song "Master the Tempest is Raging" by Acapeldridge on Youtube. I know that Devils are on the rise since the time is short but I am in this race for the long haul and Jesus is my prize. God Bless
  • Richard j Castillo on Matthew 22
I learn so much from these commentaries, I thank the lord daily and daily ask for forgiveness and to live a better life for Christ, Because we all will come under scrutiny and if found wanting will be cast into the lake of fire. Oh that people realize this and I pray that I can bring those around me to Christ, can you imagine waking up one day in front of the Lord and to be found guilty?
  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Matthew 22
And why say ye, Had Jesus been? For the Holy Scriptures try you now saying, Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Matthew 22
The wicked, evil man attempts to hide himself by perverting the question, and not answering. Does the Holy Scripture say in vain, The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham? or, Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my Gospel? or, Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? REPENT NOW.
  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Matthew 22
If Christ is not born again, even risen again from the dead; whom do ye imagine to crucify, again? It is written, Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. I AM the root AND the offspring of David.
  • Alex on Matthew 22
Jesus ask the pharisees what think ye of Christ whos Son is he Who is his father ? ,His blood line etc, they replied Davids son then Jesus answered if David calls him LORD HOW CAN HE BE HIS SON Had Jesus been the literal son of David he wd have carried the stain and spot of Adam and he wd have had to been bornagain. His Father said this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased.Th blood of God

  • Deanna Jones on Matthew 22
I do believe all that is, totally rely on love and forgiveness. We are quick to judge and to become offended which keep the sinning going in full motion. Then love and forgiveness stop the sin.We are all sinners that's why Jesus came to save our wretched souls.Amen
  • Sally on Matthew 22
I was attacked with words by person who hates me and I didn't know how to answer them. I remember Jesus being asked by what authority he did these things. Jesus answered them with a question that they could not answer. He knew how to answer his enemies. Matthew 24: 40 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

Thou shall love the Lord your God with all thy heart thy mind and thy soul. I love you Jesus teach me Lord to be patient and be born again every moment of my life I will praise you forever for you are worthy you are my rock and my salvation Shalom amen
  • Serenity on Matthew 22
Matt 22:37 reminds me that there is purpose in His words. As we keep our focus on Him, all other things fall into place. If we are not serving Him, we can only be serving satan. We must love Him with ALL we have, every breath praise or glorify Him , every move be filled with His spirit , and holding every thought captive....someone remember that last scripture and how it goes..."holding every thought captive according to..." Be well.
  • Otelia Thompson on Matthew 22
All you have to do is ask. I believe that when you pray in Jesus name and say Amen, it shall be done according to God's will, which is not our will! We must have this big thing called faith. I have learned to trust God with my faith, wherever he guides me on my journey is where I'm supposed to be. I've learned to just stand still and be patient!! Jesus is always right beside me!! Thank you Father
