Praise the Lord for taking care of us and giving us love and mercy. It's only through his mercy that we are reunited with him, when you are lost in sin how sweet it is to be back in the arms of the Father. Amen

Before I came to developing a relationship with Jesus Christ, I knew everything as negative. Learning the scriptures gives me a powerful set of tools to use during hardship as well as the pink clouds that come and go. It provides strength I never knew before and how to remain positive.
  • MockingBird on Matthew 18 - 8 years ago
I believe that this passage is also talking about forgiveness and un forgiveness and I believe that this passage is also talking about what I say : I can have what I say : If I talk doubt and unbelief all day every day : that is what I get : Talk fear : That fear will come upon me : Talk Faith and Blessing all day everyday , not only on me but on all and everyone that I talk about. I will have to give an account of all that I speak on the day I stand before Jesus Christ . As well as every one else. No one will be left out on that day !!

I learned that it is not enough to just say I forgive you. It has to be from the heart. People can say "I forgive you" but their heart is saying something else. The Lord demands it has to be from the heart. Thank You Lord, help me!

  • Corey arnold on Matthew 18 - 8 years ago
Matthew 18 a very powerful chapter that speakes on many things teaching us how to humble ourselves and to cast away from us the offences we may have so that we could hear Him say well done my tried and tested servant, not depart from me you worker of iniquity I knew you not and also teaching us that our Father is watching us along with the angels how we treat one another holding grudges not forgiving then we turn around and ask the Lord to forgive us. I have come to realize that we cant get anywhere being at war with each other but if we come together in the name of the Lord He shall be in the midst of us. " Thats the key unity " Be Blessed!

  • Lin on Matthew 18:15 - 8 years ago
I do not believe in telling a person each offense they do against me. A so called friend insulted me over again. When I offend someone the Holy Spirit will gently correct me. I will then go to the person forgive me. I do not say if I offended you. I have been rejected all my life and spoke rudely to. This person was called by my daughter to see if she would go to the Doctor with me. She told my daughter I should ask her I do not ask because I 'm prideful. She called me later and I told her I 'm not full of pride. Unlike you jealousy.greed, covet, and unknindness. She began to scream at me she said I asked you did Ido anything to and you said no. You lied to me. I said you speak in tongue and you stay in prayer all time . I was aformer catholic this church I use to attend the people are insulting with their speech. I have had 6 strokes and they are partly the blame for a nervous break down. I will go back to the catholic church. Father told this would happen. God bless you.
  • Mike Handzelek on Matthew 18:19 - 8 years ago
Even though the Spirit of Jesus lives in Christians individually, the uniqueness of God 's presence and delivered promises from prayer become more evident when husbands and wives or small groups gather for worship and or mutual encouragement.
  • Marshall Littleton on Matthew 18:10 - 8 years ago
First Jesus is talking about little chikdren here. He is talking to his deciples in answer to their question. Who wil be the greatest? We must become as a little child in humility, in innocence, in fath, hope and love. Secondly. We are not to dispise those that have become like little children by recieving Jesus Christ as a little child instead we are to learn from them and be like Jesus Christ. So we are not to despise innocent little children and we are not to desipise the least of the saints who have bern made innocent by the blood of the Lamb. For we wont even make it to Heaven unless we become like them. Indeed we are inviting Gods judgment if we offend them or despise them in our hearts.
  • Tal on Matthew 18:19 - 8 years ago
What an awesome potential there is for miracles and needs to be met if a man and his wife will agree and pray together. Oh Lord open the eyes of our understanding to know what we have access to when we obey your word.

IT 'S A GIFT, FORGIVENESS AME
  • Lisa on Matthew 18 - 9 years ago
There is no limit or set amount of times that we should forgive one another. Forgiveness is at the height of Faith which carries its own anointing. When Jesus told the disciples to forgive seven times seventy, Jesus is saying continually forgive your brethren just I have continually forgiven you by shedding my blood. Forgiveness is also a process that produces strong faith and strong spiritual character.
  • Lilian on Matthew 18 - 9 years ago
Jesus loves us and he always reminded us to love one another and lets forget and forgive those who tresspass againts us because Jesus can forgive us how much more we are. This is the commandments of God to love one another. God blessed us in abundance whatever we have now is all comes from God and belongs to him only. We must praised God and thank him of what he has done into our lives with his goodness and mercy always with us. Jesus loves you. He will never stop loving us. Thanks to Jesus for the precious blood that shed for us. Amen
  • Gary Sparks on Matthew 18:20 - 9 years ago
This Christ 's plan for the formation of an assembly to worship Him in His name. The plan of Christ is for believers to agree together, to unite in faith together, and to ask together to receive from the Father. This may happen with 2 or 222.
  • Dew on Matthew 18:20 - 9 years ago
The verse is in the discipline chapter. We are all sinners saved by grace alone. When we go to a sinning brother ,two or three we take Christ with us in His authority
  • Preach.moore on Matthew 18 - 9 years ago
In order to show humility and mercy one must receive the kingdom of heaven as a child. with fresh eyes and newness of heart.God forgave all of their sins because of love. We should approach all brethren knowing God is in us all. So let the Holy Ghost shine the Love of God in our hearts and forgive others because God forgave us first. This is the image of God!!!
  • NISHA313 on Matthew 18:4 - 9 years ago

1st John 5 :7,8 There are three that bear record in heaven : the Father : the Word : and the Holy Ghost , and these three are one. There are three that bear witness in earth we are made from earth the spirit , the ,water , and the blood , Where two or three are gathered together. The Church : His body : His people . He is in all.

  • OMALE on Matthew 18 - 9 years ago
Chapter 18 is a very powerful Scripture because it shows us the secret of greatness, victory and a healthy Christian living. These are humility verses 1-3 , forgiveness verses 21-23 , agreement verse 18 and God 's presence verse 20 . With these, we can bind and loose anything on earth as it be so in heaven and anything we ask the Father in JESUS NAME will be given to us. Praise God.
  • Eric on Matthew 18 - 9 years ago
Since we are to become like children in service and the longing to know our Heavenly Father, the children we encounter are to be equal to us. Taking out ego and traits we have adopted in this fallen world. To help and give guidance in the name of Jesus who called the little children unto him. Amen
