<-- Back to Matthew chapter 18

Cross N.'s comment on 8/10/2017, 6:25pm...

Dear Boba Fett - I like that you appreciate the teachings of Jesus even if you claim that you are not a Christian. May I just add that aside from your entering a spiritual state every time you play with your lego, Jesus is telling us that "being a child" means possessing a humble and teachable spirit like children :)

Arley3's comment on 6/10/2017, 1:58pm...

Matthew 18:15 doesn't say anything about whether you have forgiven the trespass or not, nor does it say anything about whether or not the brother has repented of the trespass. It doesn't say if thy brother has ought against you. It says, "if thy brother shall trespass against thee... ". Talk things out. Make peace with your brother. Don't look for excuses.

BSP's comment on 4/18/2017, 5:35am...

Jesus came to save the lost ones. We are grateful for the ransom of Jesus because without this ransom we would still be lost and with no chance of survival.

ADAM Ulysses Shuler's comment on 4/09/2017, 3:37pm...

I BELIEVE IN JESUS AND GOD IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST AND AS MY SAVOIR.

Peter A. Okebukola's comment on 3/10/2017, 9:13pm...

Like the lord in verse 27, Jesus is willing to forgive all our sins so we can be blameless when we appear before Him at His Judgement Seat. We should also adopt the same posture of forgiving all those who trespass against us, countless times.

Wayne's comment on 10/19/2016, 3:35am...

Jesus says, v. 3 except you b converted and become as little a child, you shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven. There is no merit in just acting like a child.

Boba Fett's comment on 9/17/2016, 4:30am...

Although I'm not a Christian, it's nice to know that Jesus approves of my child-like behavior. When I play with my Star Wars Lego sets I become child-like even though I'm 38 years old and thus I enter a spiritual state of mind that can be called heaven...

Praise the Lord for taking care of us and giving us love and mercy. It's only through his mercy that we are reunited with him, when you are lost in sin how sweet it is to be back in the arms of the Father. Amen

MockingBird's comment on 11/11/2015, 8:31am...

The guy that had his dad as a minister for 60 yrs. Thanks for your comment : This opened my eyes : Yes , I see that he came to bring back to man what was lost in Adam in the garden : A relationship and fellowship with the Father God. Praise God !!! He restored !

MockingBird's comment on 11/10/2015, 8:35am...

I believe that this passage is also talking about forgiveness and un forgiveness and I believe that this passage is also talking about what I say : I can have what I say : If I talk doubt and unbelief all day every day : that is what I get : Talk fear : That fear will come upon me : Talk Faith and Blessing all day everyday , not only on me but on all and everyone that I talk about. I will have to give an account of all that I speak on the day I stand before Jesus Christ . As well as every one else. No one will be left out on that day !!

It teaches about the mercies of God.GOD wants us to do unto others how we would want them to do unto you.And again that whatever we reject here on earth that heaven will also reject it and whatever we accept that heaven will also approve it for us glory toGOD.Comment*

Stevie Marshall's comment about verse 20 on 8/24/2015, 12:57pm...

where 2 or three are gathered...hmmmm. This is interesting because we don't need anyone else for us to be in the spirit. We can commune with God all by ourselves. I take this as the two being gathered being God and I and if anyone else wishes to join in the acknowledgement and praise of God, God will welcome them as well. God is always everywhere in his own name and as long as I even if I'm by myself am gathered in God's name, he will be there in the midst with me.

Emmanuel's comment on 8/14/2015, 9:26pm...

I learned that it is not enough to just say I forgive you. It has to be from the heart. People can say "I forgive you" but their heart is saying something else. The Lord demands it has to be from the heart. Thank You Lord, help me!

Corey arnold's comment on 7/16/2015, 8:04pm...

Matthew 18 a very powerful chapter that speakes on many things teaching us how to humble ourselves and to cast away from us the offences we may have so that we could hear Him say well done my tried and tested servant, not depart from me you worker of iniquity I knew you not and also teaching us that our Father is watching us along with the angels how we treat one another holding grudges not forgiving then we turn around and ask the Lord to forgive us. I have come to realize that we cant get anywhere being at war with each other but if we come together in the name of the Lord He shall be in the midst of us. " Thats the key unity " Be Blessed!

Jim's comment about verse 20 on 6/29/2015, 1:16pm...

Cylus Khayumbi's comment about verse 6 on 6/23/2015, 9:01pm...

There are some people, especielly christians, who mock, frustrate and do anything possible to get young believer off their faith in Christ Jesus. These are the people the verse is warning against such.

Lin's comment about verse 15 on 6/07/2015, 4:00pm...

I do not believe in telling a person each offense they do against me. A so called friend insulted me over again. When I offend someone the Holy Spirit will gently correct me. I will then go to the person forgive me. I do not say if I offended you. I have been rejected all my life and spoke rudely to. This person was called by my daughter to see if she would go to the Doctor with me. She told my daughter I should ask her I do not ask because I 'm prideful. She called me later and I told her I 'm not full of pride. Unlike you jealousy.greed, covet, and unknindness. She began to scream at me she said I asked you did Ido anything to and you said no. You lied to me. I said you speak in tongue and you stay in prayer all time . I was aformer catholic this church I use to attend the people are insulting with their speech. I have had 6 strokes and they are partly the blame for a nervous break down. I will go back to the catholic church. Father told this would happen. God bless you.

Mike Handzelek's comment about verse 19 on 5/25/2015, 3:51am...

Even though the Spirit of Jesus lives in Christians individually, the uniqueness of God 's presence and delivered promises from prayer become more evident when husbands and wives or small groups gather for worship and or mutual encouragement.
