There is much said about the marriage relationship.

Confiding in another can be varied from another seeking opinions: Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 11:14, which is wisdom, or "confiding in", do you mean adultery? Which is defined as clearly wrong.

Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave himself for it:''

If you're suspecting evil pray for wisdom James 1:5,

    Romans 4,

Where does it say Abraham doubted GOD? He harkened unto Sarai: Genesis 16,

    Titus 1:15, 2Samuel 22:27,

Abraham, father of faith lost Faith in God when he delayed to experience the birth of a child as God had promised; he went into his servant; and a son, Ishmael was born to him by the slave woman; but it is said he never doubted God. Only years later, did his wife Sarah give birth to a promised, child, Isaac.

Everything before this verse was to the multitude 36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

And everything after this verse was to the disciples until verse 53 then he speaks with several different peoples. are you trying to see if he is speaking to us? That's an excuse some people use to justify sin or not obeying what Jesus said which is sin. Let us be clear when Jesus speaks it's to all of us or an example to all of us and the things he says to our Commandments, God does not ask he commands Even more Paul said the things the Apostles said to are the Commandments of God. people don't want to sell all they have and give to the poor then follow Jesus they want to keep it so of course Jesus was just speaking to that one person but Jesus said: Matthew 19:29

"And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."

The last time i checked everyone meant everyone back then and today? We see in Acts believers selling all that they had and owned and giving at the Apostles feet and to the church. Of cousrse you can say in the Greek! it means but no one NO ONE speaks the Greek that was spoken 2000 years ago that's another excuse they use God gave us his word in English the way he wanted it to be and to read and say. The 1769 KJV and there is only 1 reason why you'd change it, you disagree with God's word because you can't live up to what it says to do and be and live. Go to the top of this site hit MORE then the bible introductions 1611 and 1796 it will show you how and by who and what was use to translate it and an incite into what the times were like then

    Hi Mrs Edward.

From verses 1-35 it appears he's talking to both the disciples and the multitude. verses 36-52 he's talking to the disciples. And verses 53-58 he's speaking to those in his own country. I'm not sure if his disciples was with him there.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

Yes Diane, Jesus did have brothers & sisters. But these came after the baby Jesus was first miraculously born through the Holy Spirit's impartation of Holy Seed into Mary. Mary was a virgin at Jesus' Birth, as prophesied about the manner of His Birth ( Isaiah 7:14) So Jesus' siblings were His half-brothers & half-sisters.

    Hello Catherine,

Gen 27 started the major rift. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup. At the blessing Jacob tricked his father Issac that he was Esau. If this never would have happened, the Holy story would have been set around Esau.

    Bless you for seeking understanding.

Why did God refuse Cain's temple sacrifice?

I'm trying to understand what started the rift between the 2 brothers,

and then the children of darkness versus the children of light that happened after that.

Seems to me Cain wouldn't have killed Abel if the Lord hadn't shown obvious preference to Able.

The best advice I can give to you is first and foremost, KEEP reading your Bible daily, read it slowly and purposefully. I trust no other Bible than The King James, I recommend getting a good study Bible, I use The Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible: KJV Edition it is an excellent Bible for studding. I study under an excellent Bible teacher named David Hocking; davidhocking.org. If you do a search on youtube for him you will find a great amount of videos of him teaching The Bible. A young man as yourself should start reading in Proverbs in the old testament, I only wish I had at your age. Then I would start in The Book of John.

Remember temptation is sever, Fight It At All Cost!

GOD Bless You and Keep The Faith

"What he did at Calvary is gonna apply the blood to everyman no exceptions ." So you believe this includes the rich man in hell who wanted water from Lazarus?

To whom will Jesus say, "I never knew you." Matthew 7:23

People weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the worm dieth not and the fire never quenched. Mark 9:42 - 49

You are heretical in what you are saying, and it appears you are knowingly doing this. I doubt I am the first person to have told you of your error.

If you're enquiring about the meaning or use of this word, Jeshurun, then I share the following:

Jeshurun means 'upright one or blessed one'. It was a term of endearment applied to Jacob (Israel) as God's beloved, His special people. We see the word appearing in Isaiah 44:1,2; Deuteronomy 32:15, 33:5, 33:26,27.

Even though Israel often failed the God Who loved them dearly & provided for them, God still waited for them to return to Him & love Him instead of idols. God still through all this spiritual adultery, called them "Jeshurun".

Hiya earl bowman thanks for your spritual insight into the working of the h.g. 2 nd cor. 3 : 6 kjv comes to mind who has made us able ministers of the new testament not of the letter that killeth but of the spirit the h.g. that gives life as even our lord said my words are spirit and life which is the h.g. a living spritual being .

That's a great request that you've put forward Braden. It's one that demonstrates a real hunger for the Lord & for more knowledge of Him from His Word. You're correct, one of the best ways of knowing the Lord & drawing closer to Him is from learning from His Word, communing with Him in your heart about what you read & giving Him the praise due to Him for the wonderful God that He is to you. Another important aspect about desiring greater communion with Him, is to allow Him (by His Spirit) to get 'more' of you. So often many Christians genuinely hunger more of the Lord's things but aren't prepared to let go of things in their own lives that come in the way of a deeper relationship with the Lord. Only you can do a heart & life search & see if there's anything there that would displease God.

Your Christian life with all its graces is always the best testimony one can have in front of family & close friends. When they observe your behaviour, your responses to difficult situations or people, your quiet confidence in the provision of your needs & the hope you have of everlasting life, often we say that it's those 'unspoken words' that can have the biggest impact. If you've already shared the Gospel with them, it's very likely that they'll stop listening to anymore words; you need to ask God that their ears & hearts will be opened & that they will enquire to hear from you. Nagging someone to listen to you isn't the best option in any family situation.

If you've done some Bible reading, then you'll know what God is saying in those many Bible Books & letters. All of Scripture needs to be read as all of it is profitable to your soul & for knowledge. Since I don't know how much knowledge of the Bible you have or where you are in your Christian life, it's difficult to suggest a Bible book to start with. The Gospels are always a good starting point to learn of Jesus Christ & His Love for you.

Sites such as Openbible will give you isolated verses on all Bible topics. GBU

How do I get closer to God? I know the best way to get closer to him is reading his word. But I never know where to start or what book to read, and most of the time just end up confused. Does anyone have any good references, I'm sixteen so what books of the Bible do you think would best fit me. I also want to learn more about the second coming of Jesus Christ, but I've read all I could find so far. I would like to ask for advice for the best way to serve god in a family that doesn't put God first. And thank you for all your help everyone, not one of my questions about Jesus and how to serve and honor him Have been unanswered or unhelpful. So thank you all

17sharp, may the Spirit grace you with understanding, the reason I can justify adding the Holy Ghost in Zachariah 13:9 And I (the Holy Ghost) will bring the THIRD part through the fire is because:

II Peter 1:21 For the prophecy (like the words in Zachariah) came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. It wasn't Zachariah that was going to bring them (creation) through the fire; but the Holy Ghost.

Revelation 19:10 ........worship God: for the testimony (words) of Jesus is the (holy) spirit of prophecy.

I Peter 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ (Holy Ghost) which was in them (prophets) did signify, when it (Holy Ghost) testified beforehand the suffering of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

II Samuel 23: 1-2 Now these be the last words of David, David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed (by the Holy Ghost) of God of Judah, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,

    (2) The spirit of the Lord (Holy Ghost) spake by me, and his (Holy Ghost) words were in my tongue.

When the Spirit causes you to understand that the words in the bible are the words of Spirit and not of man then the Spirit will start bringing you into spiritual understanding and start washing away worldly wisdom, which is foolishness to God.

May the Holy Ghost you with his wisdom.

"Zachariah 13:9 And I (the Holy Ghost) will bring the THIRD part ..."

Earl, how can you justify "adding" the part "(the Holy Ghost)" in the above?
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Matthew 13:41 - 3 years ago
Alex, you are graced with understanding that not everyone yet has been given eyes to see and ears to hear.

Ezekiel 5:1-4 And thou, son of man (Jesus), take thee a barber's razor, and CAUSE (all is of God) it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee three balances to weigh, and divide the hair,

    (2) Thou shall burn with fire (for our God is a consuming fire) a THIRD part in the midst or the city (spiritual Jerusalem), when the days of the siege are fulfilled (they were fulfilled at pentecost): and thou shall take a third part, and smite them with a knife: and a third part thou shall scatter to the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

    (3) Thou shall also take thereof a FEW (find the way) in number, and bind them ( the FEW) in thy skirts.

    (4) then take of them (the FEW) again, and cast them into the mist of the (lake of) fire, and burn them (the FEW) in the fire (our God is a consuming fire); for thereof (the FEW) shall a fire come into the house of Israel.

Obadiah 21 And saviours (judges) shall come upon mount Zion to judge the mount Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord's.

Zachariah 13:9 And I (the Holy Ghost) will bring the THIRD part through the (lake of ) fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they will say, The Lord is my God.

Revelation 9:18 By these three was the THIRD part of men killed, by the fire, and by smoke, and by brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. this the FIRST RESURRECTION.

Thank you for reading me BILL but thats y they call Jesus The 2 nd ADAM. What he did at Calvary is gonna apply the blood to everyman no exceptions .It wd make God a hypocrite if he applied the stain and the spot of adam to everyman no exceptions and not apply the blood of Christ to everyman just as the curse of adam was applied to everyman no exceptions the blessings and the blood of Christ have to be applied to everyman in the end . We are all gonna have to go thru the lake of fire simply b/c of our Adamic nature WHICH IS HIS BAPTISM OF FIRE. WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASENS WHICH IS HIS BAPTISM OF FIRE AND THE H.G. as OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE, OUR OLD ADAMIC NATURE IS GONA BE CONSUMED BY THE FIRE OF GOD . Jeremiah saw ALL men in travail and birth pains meaning in the end everybody is gonna be bornagain NO EXCEPTIONS, Even the isles of the seas are gonna be converted unto me in the end. Not one single person cd escape the curse of Adam not one thus in the end not one single person will be able to escape the blood and the blessings of Christ not one. If i belifted up i will draw ALL MEN unto me and God is no respector of persons. Hell ( the lake of fire ) is just his baptism of fire that we all need. Jesus said that every SINNER will have their part in the lake of fire, thats ALL OF US SINNERS. NONE RIGHTEOUS NO NOT ONE.As we all carry the stain and the spot of Adam .Thus the blood and the blessings of Christ that 2 nd Adam will be applied to everyman no exceptions he will stain ALL of his raiment which is humanity i was naked and you clothed me. God so loved the world etc . IF Jesus said ye must be bornagain he is gonna see to it that we are all bornagain in the END. IMO thats y the prophets saw the whole world in travail and birth pains its simply the heavenly birth.

Bill thank you for reading me but its you that do greatly err. you are not understanding the new covenant which is all inclusive, if i be lifted up i will draw all men unto me. many will have to go and do their 1st works again .we all have to go thru that lake of fire as we all are sinners and have come short of the glory of god . bill we all need that lake of fire which is baptism of the h.g. and fire as jesus said every sinner will have their part in the lake of fire.bill we are all sinners, that lake of fire is what we need. bill if the stain and the spot of adam was applied to everyman no exceptions then the blood of christ will be applied to every man no exceptions, who shall abide the day of his coming who shall stand when he appears for he shall be as a refiners fire and fullers soap we all need that lake of fire which is his baptism of fire and the h.g. no exceptions in adam we all die but in christ we will all live jesus died for everybody, his arm is not to short that he cannot reach everyman no matter how sinful. our old adamic nature answers to the red heifer that is gonna be burnt to ashes but what christ did at calvary is gonna save all of us. ok later. gbu
