    Repenting.

First of all, you need to repent and believe in the lord Jesus Christ.

then seek him with all your heart and mind by prayer and fasting.

    Acts 16:25-40

31 And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

The grace of God and our Lord Jesus Christ be with you amen

    Hello Gigivi80

I will encourage you to trust in what the Scriptures say about salvation in Jesus Christ and also warn you not to trust in dreams as a source of divine revelation. Duncan has spoken well to you, also.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus and His death and resurrection, I will urge you to do so immediately. There is a link on this site "How To Become a Christian" which will lead you to Scripture verses related to receiving the salvation we can have through Jesus. You could also go to the site "Got Questions" and ask "What does the Scriptures about salvation." This is a good site that gives solid biblical information.

I will pray for you tonight, Gigivi80. Let me know more about you, so I can pray more for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Savior. We ask that You will draw Gigvi80 to You through the work of Your Holy Spirit and help Gigivi80 to come to know You through your Son, Jesus. Amen.

    Hi Giannis,

    Thank you for your reply.

What I was wandering, is that Mary was a virgin and didn't have a human father.

I guess that no one knew at that time that she was a virgin.

Then Joseph kind of Adopted Jesus so prophecy would be fulfilled.

    Re Matthew

3batches of 14 generations=42 generations, with Jesus being number 42(implied). But counting the generators puts Jesus as no. 41 NOT. 42(count the generators and see Jesus as no.41)

THERE'S a MISSING GENERATOR!Who is the missing generator?

My claim is that, because each member of the church is directed to REACH ONE TO ADD TO THE BODY OF CHRIST.WE ARE THE MISSING GENERATION!..Each one REACH ONE.This makes sense further since many single believers can't be a generator due to their singleness!

What say you to this missing generator must be included to get the 42 generators?

Marrants. David was the first king that God told him out of his bloodline

Would come the King Of Kings that's why son of David and that's why in

The gospels people said thou son of David they knew the what the

    Scripture said concerning Jesus Christ.
  • Alex N - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 1 year ago
No Marrants Christ was not related to David but David is used extensively as prophetic of Christ....It was only MARY that is related to David....As she was of the tribe of Judah....But Jesus was a heavenly being but David was an earthly being.

......This Father and son relationship between David and Solomon is beautiful metaphor for the Father and son relationship Between Christ and the H.G....Whosoever receiveth one such Child in MY NAME receiveth ME

.......As Solomon came out of the loins of his father David so the H.G. the Child of Promise will come outta of the loins of Christ Jesus.....He breathe on them and they received the H.G....His breath was his words and his Words are his Seeds....Thats y he has to know us.. without his seed the H.G cannot be born in us...As he says that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit which is the H.G.

As Peter said being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the living words of God...That living being that is born in us is the H.G. the Child of Promise...

Remember Jesus told the Jews you are of this world but i am not of this world....You are from beneath but i am from above....You are of this world but i am not of this world....All men carried that stain and the spot of adam but the lamb of God cd not be stained by any such spot...Thus David and Christ were not truly related....But thru MARY....But her placenta wd not let the blood of the baby and her blood mix....Thats the way it is during gestation the baby's blood cannot mix with the mothers blood....It wd kill the fetus....But nutrients are fed to the baby from the mothers placenta.

......As Peter said in Acts 2 :27...David was just prophetic of Christ....When David prayed thou will not leave my soul in hell neither will thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption...It was PROPHETC of Christ's soul was not left in hell etc...Not David....Thus that Child that was to come outta Davids loins Solomon is prophetic of The H.G. that has to come outa of Christ Loins ...GBU

Hi Lenny. From Matthew 1:17, we see the writer allocating fourteen generations between Abraham & David, then another fourteen from David to the Babylonian captivity, and then a further fourteen from the Captivity to Christ.

These are not generations of years/timeline, but generations of families. In other words, if we tried to count the years between each person/event, we would find that there isn't any correlation between them. The first set of fourteen covered approx 1000 years; the second set, approx 400 years; and the third set, nearly 600 years. So we can't use a timeline to predict a possible fourteen generations after Christ. And even if we tried to do so, what families would we use, since after the dispersion & inter-mingling between Israelis & the world, it would be impossible to ascertain any Jewish generation? The only generation that matters to the Lord are those who have been 're-generated' & are now the children of God through His Son Jesus Christ. We can't apply another fourteen generations to this age (post-Cross/Pentecost) - we are those who look up, knowing that our "redemption/coming of the Lord draweth nigh." ( Luke 21:28; James 5:8).

I noticed it is 14 generations from David to the seizure of Babylon and from David to Jesus is also 14 generations . This needs to get more notice amongst bible scholars especially when it's dealing in messianic for telling.

Yes Amen Jesus loves us but his love is as a Bridegroom....He wants to know us thats when the good seed is own in our hearts....Thats y the sower of the good seed wants to sow his seed in our hearts that we might be bornagain of an incorruptible seed...Even by the words of God as Peter says

.....Unless the lord of the sabbath had left us a seed we wd have been made like unto Sodom and Gomarrah...But the lord has left us a seed which are the words of the book in the right hand of the Father....the Words of life... Romans 9 : 29 KJV

...God so loved the world that he gave his only son...The living Word are the seeds of God...And to whom the word came it made them Gods...Meaning we are gonna be married to God...A marriage is when 2 are made 1...As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy God marry thee as the Bridegroom rejoices over the Bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee.... Isaiah 62 : 5...We are gonna be married to God ...ty Jesus

Hi Roy, Before the flood the diet was only fruit of the vine and herbs of the field. After the flood animal meat was allowed, but only clean animals, as the unclean animals feed off other animals (alive or dead) and can cause us to get diseases as a result. They lived hundreds of years before the flood and the Bible tells us that we are given up to 80 years for a life span (anything over is a plus, right?) At different stages of history that has been shorter or longer due to famines, disease, and war, but the Bible clearly states in Psalms 90:10 how long a lifespan for man. A Hebrew year was 360 days. Hope this helps, Cissi

    Hello Roy,

Thank you for your testimony. I have been a believer all of my life and I am now 65. Last night I was thinking about my testimony being a boring one in comparison to others who lived many years in unbelief. I don't have knowledge nor experience of being far from God in rebellion and unbelief and then coming to faith. But as I thought more about this, I just have to admit that I have had a blessed life to be called to Jesus at so young of an age. I grew up in a believing home and was taught who Jesus was and what He did for my salvation as early as I can remember. I embraced this truth eagerly and believed in Jesus deeply as a child and this faith remained in me throughout my life. I am thankful for how God called me to Him. He spared me a lot of grief.

In response to your post, I just want to say that I do not think that God liked mankind less and less the more they sinned before the flood nor after. Our sin grieved Him and He hated our sins, but the Bible clearly tells us across the pages of Scripture, that God loves mankind and it never changes. Yet some will receive His salvation through His grace and mercy and believe in Jesus, and many more will reject Him. But He still loves each person He creates the same. The difference to us is that those who do not believe in Him will be recipients of His holy wrath in the judgment, spending eternity without Him, and those who believe will receive His favor in redemption and spend eternity with Him.

But God's love for mankind does not lesson because we sin. Our fellowship with Him is impaired when we sin, but that is our doing, a lack of love for Him on our part, not a reduction of love to us from Him on His part.

    Hope this helps.
