Mt 8:19 A certain scribe came, and said . . . I will follow thee. Compare Lu 9:57-62. Though this scribe belonged to a class which, as a body, rejected Christ, he was disposed to be a disciple (see Mt 8:21), but had not counted the cost. See PNT "Mt 2:4".

"...Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed." Simply a fact! there was no fanatic display of the person having to charge himself up "in the Holy Ghost," and nothing he had to perform at all! He simply asked the Lord Jesus to have mercy on him; AND HE DID! This is how prayers are answered, and how folks are saved and healed.

Peggy, in accordance with Irene, 1 James 1:5-6, states we are to ask wisdom of God, where we lack, and He will not refuse us nor make fun of our lack of understanding. I have done this at times I did not understand, and He gave me the answers. Not always right away, but we are to insist and persist. He Loves Us!

Carmen, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, states There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men,The Man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Each sinner needs to confess their sins and sinfulness to Christ alone. He is our open door to the Heavenly Father.
