People's Bible Notes for Matthew 5:45

Mt 5:45 That ye may be children of your Father. We are God's children when we have the spirit of our Father. We are not if we have the spirit of the world. Our Father above sends blessing, the rain, and the sunshine, on the just and the unjust. He loves all, and even sent his son to have a wicked world because he loved (Joh 3:16).

The sermon on the mount is the essential teaching of this world. It us neither christian or jew ir muslim but universal. What shall we as humans do to merit the favor of God? This chapter should be read and understood iften as well as the other books of the bible. Their is no ither place that I know of where it is so clearly truth being spoken. I was looking for the 10 commandments but I could this instead; and I am lucky because i use to love reading this and I had not done so for long time and I had forgotten it. I think that I have already considered this as a favourite reading. From verse 3 to the end I love it. I think that the 10 commandments is cap 20 exodus, no longer needs to search BYE
