I think we must always live our life preparing for the return of Jesus.

The 'oil' is the symbolic of the Holy Ghost: being prayed up in the spirit everyday - and that is not referring to Jesus' 'example' prayer in Matt. - "Our Father which art in Heaven ..... "; repeating this everyday as one's 'prayer life' is tatamount to saying the rosary. We are to 'converse' with Him Just as we'd talk to our earthly fathers about our needs and/or just how much we love Him.

The wise virgins knew God's Word; the foolish did not. The oil is symbolic for The Word. Those who study The Father's Word know He (Christ the bridegroom) will return at the last (7th) trump, not the 6th. The antichrist, Satan himself, returns at the 6th claiming to be God. Watch therefore, and study His Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

To Bro. Henriques on ten virgins - Thank-you for your reply. Yes, I knew '10' referred to His chosen, only half being saved. It was just the #10 I was curious about.
  • Bro. Luke Henriques
    Dear Irene 123,

The 10 in the above scripture is not referring to just ten individuals , but Ten is a whole number meaning the whole body of Christ . Sad to say though , not all of the whole body lives and walks in the Spirit of God as we are called to be , For the oil of the spirit of God should be overflowing in us all the while as a flowing Stream .
